An Unusual School Brings the Outside In Pupils in Madrid, Spain have helped to design a school that is connected to nature. Reggio School is a six-storey building featuring a drawbridge entrance, walls made from mashed cork (软木泥) which provide a home for insects and an indoor rainforest. The school was designed by Andris Jaque, who asked pupils for bright ideas. "I want it to be as colorful and playful as a child's imagination." Andres said. ▲ Starting in the 2023-24 school year, students in a northern Indiana school district (学区) will only be allowed to use clear bags at school. And each student will get one clear bag for free. This measure (措施) has been taken to improve safety in schools. It may help stop certain students from bringing dangerous objects such as guns with them to school. The ‘Dazing Zone' at a Chinese University Guangdong University of Finance and Economics has set up six "dazing zones (发呆区)" in its library for students to relax and get inspiration (灵感). Such zones are equipped with desks. chairs and plants, where students can overlook beautiful scenery, think, communicate, eat and rest. "The zones are designed to guide students over the best way to refresh themselves other than to escape from important tasks or projects." says Wang Zhongsheng, the head of the library. |
