It just depends on {#blank#}4{#/blank#} you have the determination to do it and whether the situation is in your favor. But never before have I {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (admire) a person so much as Helen Keller, who I just read about. I just can't imagine how she could be so successful. {#blank#}8{#/blank#} I really don't believe is that a deaf-blind lady could become a world-famous writer. She must have met great difficulties and she must have made great efforts! If I were {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (she), I wouldn't have the courage to live on. It is {#blank#}10{#/blank#} her courage, imagination and intelligence that I was struck.

    In China, the history of people planting and using bamboo can date back to as far as 7000 years. As early as the Shang Dynasty, bamboo was being used in ancient people's daily lives. It was used for food, clothing, housing, transportation, {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (music) instruments and even weapons.

It is always closely related to people of positive spirits. Bamboo culture contributes to encouraging people to hold on when {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(face) tough situations.

    The Hong Kong –Zhuhai–Macao Bridge, the world's {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (long) cross-sea bridge, enters the history of human engineering and connection as a point of pride upon {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (it) opening to traffic at 9 a. m. on Oct. 24, 2018.

    Kiwis are endangered little birds native to New Zealand. It seems to be something in our blood {#blank#}1{#/blank#} makes human beings want to conquer (征服)" things by climbing them, no matter whether it's Qomolangma — the {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (high) peak on Earth —{#blank#}3{#/blank#} Uluru, a big rock that sits 348 meters above the ground in the central Australian desert. Many {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (visit) to Uluru climb the rock even though there's no road to it, except for a chain-and-pole path that's been hammered into the rock by early explorers. There's even a sign at the bottom of the rock {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (write) in seven languages, reading: "Please don't climb."

    For starters, the rock has spiritual significance for the local Aboriginal people, and {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(set) foot on it is considered disrespectful.
