Day after day, a small blue truck speeds along the streets of Funen. A dog sits beside the driver, looking at him as if{#blank#}1{#/blank#} (listen) to his order. Whenever the truck goes by, the people of Funen tum and stare, some in wonder, others in admiration; for on its sides{#blank#}2{#/blank#} (print) the words TRACKER DOC and a telephone number.

    Yes, the passenger in the blue truck is a dog that{#blank#}3{#/blank#} ( be) used to find lost things or follow the tracks of persons and animals. Within seven years, the dog and his{#blank#}4{#/blank#} (own) Anderson have found lost things worth nearly $400,000，among{#blank#}5{#/blank#} are watches, jewelry, money, cows, pigs, and other dogs. Of course, the secret of the dog is his sensitive nose.

    Each year the dog and Anderson answer about 700 calls{#blank#}6{#/blank#} help. Four out of five times they find what they are asked to look for. Whenever the phone rings in Anderson's house, the dog is{#blank#}7{#/blank#} (immediate) excited. He quickly runs to the truck, eager to be off in search of the {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (lose).

    On the way, Anderson repeats again and again the namesof{#blank#}9{#/blank#}  they are looking for. So by the time they arrive, the dog is ready{#blank#}10{#/blank#} (get) to work. He circles here and there until he picks up the smell of an object in a place where it doesn't belong.

    I've been a volunteer at Radio Lollipop since May. It is one of the best experiences that I {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(have) in the last few years.

    Radio Lollipop is an international charity organization {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(found) in 1979 to provide care, comfort, games and entertainment for children in hospital. The service is provided{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(entire) by volunteers who have been specially selected and trained to make a child's stay in hospital more interesting and {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (little) frightened

    I help out regularly {#blank#}5{#/blank#} Monday evenings after work at the Royal Hospital. My task is to deliver a smile to the children at the wards (病房){#blank#}6{#/blank#}might be there for a few days or even a couple of months.{#blank#}7{#/blank#}is hard to find children on Monday, as the cinema at the hospital is open on that day. Most of them tend {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(be) there.

    I am thankful for this opportunity to help children at the hospital and make their stays more pleasant. The experience also helps me deal with the {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(difficulty) and challenges that I've been faced with in my own life. I am now more positive in helping others and realize {#blank#}10{#/blank#} everyone goes through some pain and suffers from time to time.

    Suddenly, wildlife is good for the tourist trade. And tourism—{#blank#}1{#/blank#} it takes only pictures and {#blank#}2{#/blank#} only footprints—is good for the national parks. If wildlife can be seen to be {#blank#}3{#/blank#} its way, then its {#blank#}4{#/blank#} of {#blank#}5{#/blank#} will be much greater.

    When I was in primary school, I didn't like going to school. I had {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (difficult) in reading and writing and I always could not answer the teacher's questions {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (correct). I cried a lot because I {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (laugh) at by my classmates. My parents would always get mad at me. I felt very upset and didn't have any interest{#blank#}4{#/blank#} study.

    But then one day, I decided{#blank#}5{#/blank#} (change) my attitude towards study. {#blank#}6{#/blank#}I ended up paying more attention in class and I started to practice my vocabulary and spelling skills. Also, I always {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (go) to my teachers to ask for help when I had any trouble. I started to do better in Grade 3. {#blank#}8{#/blank#}I was in Grade 4, I was still improving. By Grade 5, I had become the top student in class.

    Now as I am {#blank#}9{#/blank#} senior high school student, I know it might be difficult at first. But I like my past in primary school, I know if I keep working and don't give up I will be {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (success).

    Successful communication {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(involve) more than talking to a person. Good listening skills and body language are also important for us to communicate {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(effective) with others. Studies have shown that of the information that is received from other people, only 10% is from what they say and 40% is from the tone and speed of their voice. The other 50% is obtained from their body language. Therefore, {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(read) body language is an important part of developing our social skills.
