Confidence is very important in daily life. It can help you to develop a healthy attitude (态度). A study shows that the people who are more confident are much happier. They can have more chances to make themselves successful. The following is about how to be more confident.

    Speak loud.  When you are not confident, you can't do well what you want to do. You speak in a voice so low that other people can hardly hear you. Try to speak loud enough so that people can hear you clearly. The high voice can help you become more confident.

    Play sports.  Physical exercise makes you tired but completely relaxed. A strong body helps you be full of confidence.

    Encourage yourself.  To see how many things you have done well, you can write down a list of things you did during the day. Did you finish your homework? Did you tell a joke that made everybody laugh? Give yourself praise for the good things you've done.

    Pick up a hobby.   If you like singing, sing as much as you can. In some ways, a hobby can make you outstanding. And it will make you happy and confident.

    Get rid of (消除) fear. Fear comes along with failure (失败). But it's easy to overcome (克服) if you know that failure is part of your life. Don't hide your head just because you said something stupid last time. Try to start again and believe you can do better.

    Films provide more than just entertainment．Watching foreign language films is a way to develop language skills．While watching a film，you are immersed（沉浸）in the language and can pick up new expressions that you might not find in a textbook．Some difficulties can arise when watching foreign language films-for example，unfamiliar colloquial language or strong regional accents．With this in mind，here are my tips to help you make progress in English learning while enjoying the films．

    Choose a film type that you enjoy.

    If you like action films，watch an action film-for example Indiana Jones．If you prefer comedies，watch a comedy-anything with Hugh Grant in always provides a laugh！It's simple enough，but if you choose something you enjoy watching in your native language，you're more likely to enjoy it in English．

    Choose something that you are familiar with.

    It's best to start off with something simple because in this way you have a higher chance of understanding the film．Disney films such as The Lion King，or the more recently released Tangled，are classic examples．Other cartoons such as Rango and The Lego Movie are also worth a watch．

    If you need to，use subtitles（字幕）．

    Subtitles are very helpful for beginners．using subtitles in your own language is the easiest choice，but for more advanced learners why not consider using English subtitles？This way，you can match the written subtitles to the words spoken on .screen．It helps you to develop your language further.

    TapeMeasure Murder is a short story by Agatha Christie. In the story, Miss Politt, the dressmaker, finds that Mrs. Spenlow is dead in her house in a small village called St Mary Mead. Everybody, including the police, thinks that Mr. Spenlow is the murderer(凶手) because he is so calm and quiet after discovering his wife's death. But after the police talk to Miss Marple, she finds out the real murderer.

    The best part of the story is when Miss Marple explains how she solves the mystery(疑案) by noticing a tiny pin(别针) on a policeman's uniform. Her explanation is very clear and clever. Miss Marple is my favorite character in the story. I think she is very special because she is just an old lady but she is even smarter than the policemen. I never thought that an old lady could be the main character of a detective story!

    Can you guess who the murderer is? Read the book to find out! You will enjoy the story very much because the ending is so surprising.

How to Be Successful in a New Environment?

Perhaps，you are a smart person with good knowledge and creative ideas，but when you move to a new environment or have to work with some new people

Be curious and be willing to learn new things and skills. Moving to a new working environment，you may need to deal with things that don't belong to your own field. In such a case，people who are more willing to learn new things can meet new requirements in their job. 

Have a good sense of judgment on important things. Learning or working in a new environment，you need to have a good sense of judgment when you join a discussion or make a decision. You should consider what is right，and look for long﹣term goals. 

Be confident when talking to people. When you go out and meet people，it is important to look confident. For example，if you are going to an interview，what can you do?Before you walk in，think to yourself，walk in holding your head high and smile. Remember to look other people in the eye—it's the key to creating a connection with people. Soon，you will feel as confident as you look. 

Set clear goals and learn. When working together with others，it is important that you have a clear goal and a working plan to achieve it. Let people know what you support. You need to find out which ideas can really unite people and then express those ideas clearly. Also，treat your team members respectfully as equals.
