One day, I took my daughter to the park. As soon as we got there, my daughter {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(run) to the swing（秋千）and asked for a push. When I was helping my daughter, I noticed another girl trying to make her own swing{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(go) high by herself. Her old grandmother was sitting on the chair nearby and smiling at us. Happily, my daughter {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(push) higher and higher by me.

    Then I walked towards the little girl. I asked {#blank#}4{#/blank#} I could give a big push to her. She smiled and said “Yes”. For the next hour, I pushed the swings, and played {#blank#}5{#/blank#} my daughter and the little girl. When we went home, I was tired {#blank#}6{#/blank#} very happy.

    One day two years{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(late), after a day's work, I went to pick up my daughter before going home. While I was waiting outside the school gate, a little girl smiled {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(sweet) at me and gave me a big hug. As I watched her run away, I realized that she was the girl whom I gave a big push in the park.

    So far, I couldn't forget her sweet smile and the warm hug that she gave me. In fact, if we give love to others, love will find its way back to us. It may travel {#blank#}9{#/blank#} heart to heart or it may blossom（开花）in the heart. The love we share, the {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(kind) we give, and the happiness we create will come back to us with a pleasant surprise.

    My favorite color is orange. It is a warm and bright color, and it makes me feel happy and safe. When I {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (see) this color, I think of fall. When I go outside, I enjoy{#blank#}2{#/blank#} (walk) through the dark orange leaves and listening to the sound they make under my feet. I also think of the smell of fire. It's great to be at home and sit by the warm fire with{#blank#}3{#/blank#} (I) family. This warm and beautiful color should be everywhere this season!

    Roofs and windows of buildings aren't the only surfaces that can be used to produce solar power. In China,{#blank#}1{#/blank#}（construct）has begun of the country's first solar highway, in which solar panels are placed underneath transparent concrete.

    The solar highway is a 2 km stretch（一段）of road{#blank#}2{#/blank#}（lie）on the Jinan City Expressway, and it's divided into three layers. The see-through concrete protects a set of solar panels of two{#blank#}3{#/blank#}（size）. Beneath the solar panels{#blank#}4{#/blank#}（be）a layer that separates them from the damp ground.

    The road{#blank#}5{#/blank#}（it）has already been completed, and now it's only a matter of connecting the grid（输电网）,{#blank#}6{#/blank#}is expected to be finished by the end of the year alongside the completion of the Jinan Expressway's south section.

    This isn't the first solar road China has worked on. Earlier this year, the Qilu Transportation Development Group, also handling the Jinan Expressway solar road,{#blank#}7{#/blank#}（build）a 160-meter- long solar road in{#blank#}8{#/blank#}city of Jinan. It has the ability of heating up to keep the highway clear{#blank#}9{#/blank#}snow and ice* and is able to{#blank#}10{#/blank#}（wireless） charge electric vehicles. The new solar highway is expected to one day be equipped with the same features.

    The Laba Festival {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (celebrate) on the eighth day of the twelfth month of the lunar(阴历的) Chinese calendar is a traditional Chinese holiday. "La" is the name of the month and {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (pronounce) as "ba" in Chinese.

    There are several stories about the origin of this festival and it's difficult for{#blank#}3{#/blank#} (we) to tell which one is true. But today{#blank#}4{#/blank#} we do know is that this festival began as a way to honour ancestors. It was also a time for the ancient Chinese {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (pray) to heaven and earth that there would be a good harvest.

    The majority of Chinese have long followed the tradition of {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (eat) Laba porridge during the Laba Festival. {#blank#}7{#/blank#} general, the porridge contains eight ingredients, including some beans and rice. {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(traditional), Laba porridge is the most important part of the festival. Also, {#blank#}9{#/blank#} is important that family members eat the porridge together.

    Another custom is soaking Laba garlic(泡腊八蒜), {#blank#}10{#/blank#}  is the best seasoning（调味品）for the dumpling feast at the Spring Festival.
