    No trip would be complete without experiencing the local food culture. Actually, China has various kinds of delicious food, including a wide variety of local snacks.

    For most of the foreigners I contacted, and myself {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (include), Peking Duck, Mongolian Hot Pot are the favourite Chinese dishes. China is a place {#blank#}2{#/blank#} the food is not only delicious, but the {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(cheap) I've ever found.

I was handed {#blank#}7{#/blank#} menu and found most of the prices were especially low for the high quality of the food. The lucky came in whole or half, along with all the little decorations - a little tortilla (玉米粉圆饼) to put the sliced cluck and vegetables in, chopped onion and sauce.

    Anyway, I ordered a whole duck, thinking I'd just take the rest back to my hotel {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(eat) later if I couldn't finish it.{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(believable), in the end there was none of the whole duck {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(leave) on the plate.

    Many of the earth's plants and animals have already{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(die) out, and a hundred species become {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(endanger) every day. If nothing is done, we may find ourselves{#blank#}3{#/blank#} (lonely) on the earth.

    Wild animals live in the{#blank#}4{#/blank#} (forest) which are being destroyed by people. As{#blank#}5{#/blank#} result, the animals are {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(lose) their habitats. Without the trees, the animals are short of food. And many animals are dying out because of pollution.

    I suggest that measures should be taken {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(protect) wildlife. The government should keep people {#blank#}8{#/blank#}destroying forests and shut down the factories {#blank#}9{#/blank#} pollute rivers and air, I think more wildlife reserves should also be {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(build).

I was very frightened when{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(wake) up in hospital last Thursday. I fainted in my PE class because of low blood sugar levels. Fortunately, I was rushed to hospital{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(immediate). The doctor helped me and I made a full recovery within two days. My experience proves what a bad idea{#blank#}3{#/blank#}is to try to lose weight by skipping meals. Now I know this extreme weight-loss method has serious side{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(effect).
