Founded in Yan'an in 1941, Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) is now a famous university located in the Haidian District of Beijing, a place in {#blank#}1{#/blank#}the key institutions of higher {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (educate) are concentrated. Excellence in foreign language teaching has allowed BFSU {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(enjoy) a good fame for quality in teaching and research activities.

    The university campus occupies {#blank#}4{#/blank#} area of 304,553 square meters, with a student dormitory area of 40,000 square meters and a library of 9,997 square meters. The Third Ring Road runs through the center of the university campus,{#blank#}5{#/blank#}（make） transportation very convenient. The university is {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(wide) known as Beiwai in Mandarin and BFSU in English.

    BFSU has over 600 highly-qualified and {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(experience) staff members. Each year approximately 120 teachers and experts {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(employ) from more than 20 {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(country) to teach at BFSU.     This weekend I was delighted to show my parents around Seville, as they {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(come) for a short but sweet visit. Although the weather wasn't the best, we still made {#blank#}2{#/blank#} best of our time together.

    So, after a two-day trip, I feel pleased to have had the time to explore those {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(attraction) with my parents. I am already looking forward to their next visit {#blank#}10{#/blank#}I can show them more of what Seville offers and what I am still yet to discover.

    Henry Bond was about ten years old when his father died. He lived {#blank#}1{#/blank#} poor life with his mother.     Do you know that some of the most interesting urban gardens are in unexpected places?     St. Dunstan-in-the-East is a historic church in London, which has a history of hundreds of years. It survived the Great Fire of London in the 17th century, but it {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(hit) by a German bomb during World War II. St. Dunstan was rebuilt in the 1960s. Later, the city turned the grounds into a public garden.

    St. Dunstan is on a quiet street, but it's only a short walk from major {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (tour)attractions like the Tower of London. Why are all these festivals everywhere？Because during the festivals, people can get together to eat, drink and have fun with each other, {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (forget) all the daily struggles and demands for a while.
