    Being a high school student is probably one of the hardest things in the world. From the countless classes to the endless homework, your school may seem stressful some days. So, it's understandable if you feel under pressure sometimes.

    However, by making a few changes, your high school life could become easier. First, as starters, try to build a better relationship with the most important people in your life: your parents. "To succeed, teens need love, acceptance and support from their parents,” psychologist Sara Villanueva wrote on Psychology Today website. With this in mind, try to explain your difficulties to your parents. That way, they'll understand you better. To do this, simply talk to your parents and share your feelings with them and they may be able to help you. Having a good relationship with your teachers is important too. If you're finding a certain class too hard, talk to your teachers and ask them for help. It's teachers' job to make sure their students understand what they teach, so they'll be more than happy to help you.

    And then, you also should start by helping yourself to become more successful at anything you do. To start with, set yourself some realistic goals, like "I'll improve my math grade by next semester," or "I'll join one more after-school club." And rather than just tell yourself these goals, plan them out carefully-and stick to them. You can get yourself a calendar, and mark every piece of school work you have on there, for example. That way, you can see exactly what you need to do and when you need to finish it by.

    Another thing to remember, however, is that relaxation is just as important as working hard. "It is good to take time to relax during heavy periods of work to stay energized (精力充沛的) and focused," US student Anna Pohoryles wrote on university website Odyssey. So, if things get too difficult, taking a break may be the best solution of all.

And he requested us to pay in cash.” For that reason, the worker asked the boss to pay him in cash, too. The boss agreed.     The boss was confused and looked into the issue, and finally found out that the worker told a lie. However, he paid the shop owner as usual, because he must keep his promise, even he was cheated and had to pay more money.

    Good merchants won't scrap(废除)their contracts. They won't sign contracts easily and usually chaffer(论价)for their benefits if they have to sign them. But after that, they will definitely follow them whatever the price.

Teens' Sleep Shortage

    Most teens need about 8 to more than 9 hours of sleep each night. The right amount of sleep is essential for anyone who wants to do well in tests or sports. And lack of sleep affects everything from a person's ability to pay attention in class to his or her mood. It also damages teens' ability to do their best in athletics. Unfortunately, research shows that many teens don't get enough sleep, and more than 20% of high school students fall asleep in class.

    Until recently, teens were often blamed for staying up late, oversleeping for school, and falling asleep in class. But recent studies show that teens' sleep patterns actually differ from those of adults or kids. These studies show that during the teen years, the body's biological clock is temporarily reset, telling a person to fall asleep later and wake up later. This change might arise from the fact that the brain hormone melatonin (褪黑素) is produced later at night for teens than it is for kids and adults. This can make it harder for teens to fall asleep early.

    These changes in the body's biological clock are in line with a time when they're busier than ever. For most teens, the pressure to do well in school is heavier than when they were kids, and it's harder to get by without studying hard. And teens also have other time demands — everything from sports and other extracurricular(课程外的) activities to fitting in a part-time job to save money for college.

    Early start time in some schools may also play a role in this sleep shortage. Teens who fall asleep after midnight may still have to get up early for school, meaning that they may only squeeze in 6 or 7 hours of sleep a night. A couple hours of missed sleep a night may not seem like a big deal, but can create a noticeable sleep shortage over time
