请阅读下面图画和短文,并按要求用英语写一篇150词左右的文章。

    There was a boss who made a contract with his workers: he will pay their salary each week, but not in cash. Instead, the workers would choose some goods in a shop, which equal the value of their salary. Then he will pay the cash to the owner of the shop.

    But one day, one of the workers complained to his boss, “The shop owner said 'no cash, no goods'. And he requested us to pay in cash.” For that reason, the worker asked the boss to pay him in cash, too. The boss agreed. After a while, the shop owner came to the boss, asking him to pay for his workers.

    The boss was confused and looked into the issue, and finally found out that the worker told a lie. However, he paid the shop owner as usual, because he must keep his promise, even he was cheated and had to pay more money.

    Good merchants won't scrap(废除)their contracts. They won't sign contracts easily and usually chaffer(论价)for their benefits if they have to sign them. But after that, they will definitely follow them whatever the price.

For many days, Abdul and his men had been preparing for the journey, because of the boundless desert with hot sand and the grass out of sight for miles. It required many camels to carry the merchant's goods, tents, bottles of water, firewood, bags of rice and some tools.

    At last the caravan was ready for the journey. The sun shone steadily, making the sand so hot that no one could walk upon it in the daytime. So Abdul and his men traveled all that night. One man was the pilot. He rode ahead because he knew the stars, and he could guide the caravan by them.

    They traveled night after night, resting during the heat of the day. Unfortunately, when the caravan started another evening, the pilot led the way as usual, but after a while, weary with many nights of watching, he fell asleep.

    All night long the caravan traveled. At daybreak the pilot awoke and looked at the last star fading in the morning light. "Halt(停下)!" he called." The camels must have turned while I slept. We are at the place from which we started yesterday." Even worse, another man shouted, "The man with the camel carrying the rest water and firewood, who is walking at the end of our group, is gone!"

On Wednesday night, it was the closing time of the mall. But there was an hour's work, at least, to get everything cleaned up. It would be 11:00 pm before I finally got home. I hadn't even had time to have dinner. I was starving. My feet ached. My whole body was filled with tiredness. I couldn't wait to go to bed. But it would be only 6 hours before the alarm went off at 5:00 am for my day job.

Things had been tight for over a year now. My husband Paul's business had taken a huge hit. I have a fulltime job at a day care center and somehow do my homework for my college class too. Then I had to work nights at the mall. Without me taking my second job, there wouldn't be enough money to pay the bills. Let alone buy any Christmas presents for our 15yearold daughter, Marie. No one wanted to wake up on Christmas morning to an empty tree.

I barely even saw Paul and Marie anymore. Marie was growing up, but a teenage girl still needs her mom. I worried about her, about us. Was she eating enough? Keeping up with her schoolwork? I wasn't afraid of sacrifices. Everyone had to work hard for the family. I knew I was blessed to have two jobs, when millions of people couldn't find one.

How I hoped to quit my job at the day care center and obtain a fulltime degree. I'd dropped down to one class a term. If I quit that, there was no way I'd find the willpower to try again. Besides, wasn't I always telling Marie to keep hoping and never give up?

My mind went back to the conversation I'd had with Marie earlier. Paul had dropped her off at the mall, where she was getting picked up for a babysitting job. "Remember we're going Christmas shopping this night," she said. "Now I'll even have my own money. See you later. "

The floor was nearly done. The boss asked me to leave.

The boys at the back of the school bus were restless. Stevie did his best to ignore the others. ""Settled own!"Mr Taylor said. "We'll be there soon. Wait till you see the climbing walls. You'll be very happy." Stevie hadn't liked this "Boys Rulz" club from the start. They were troublemakers. Mom had made him join because she was worried that he didn't seem to be fitting in. It was n this fault, thought Stevie, school was boring. None of the teachers trusted him, and no special boy's group was to change that.

All the boys stared up in wonder at the huge climbing walls. Stevie looked down at his thin arms and wondered how he could climb up that. Mr Taylor and a man called Rick helped the boys get into their harnesses (保护带) and showed them how to climb up. "Now find a partner and get them to check all your straps (带子) and everything," said Mr Taylor. The boys quickly paired off, leaving Stevie standing there alone. "Cool, you're with me," said Rick, holding up his hand for a high-five. Stevie high-five d him back weakly. Stevie was on a tiny wall which the others had called the "baby wall". He gritted his teeth (咬紧牙关), his face pressed against the rough surface and reached for the next, hold. "Done!" he called down from the top. "Now let go of the rock and walk down as I showed you," said Rick. "It's perfectly safe." Stevie did as instructed, and Rick started to let him down slowly. "Well done," said Rick when Stevie got to the bottom.

Then someone pointed out that Mr Taylor hadn't done any climbing himself." I plan to, "said Mr Taylor." But I'll need a partner, someone I can really trust. "The boys volunteered actively, but Mr Taylor pretended he hadn't heard. He looked around the group. "How about you, Stevie?" he said at last. "Fancy being my belayer?" A be layer is somebody who controls how you come down, the one that stops you from falling.

1.续写词数应为150个左右;

2.请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。
