    Yesterday our club held an English speech contest, which theme was “Challenge Myself”. A large number of students attended to the contest and showed their wonderful performances. In the stage, though face great pressure, the speakers bravely overcame it and challenged them to achieve great success. Moreover, they impressed us deep with their unusual confidences and performances.

    Through such activity, we know a lot more about our students but we have gained much, such as self-confidence and bravery. Besides, our club was growing stronger.

    One rainy day while I was walking home with one of my friend, a truck came to a stop besides us. The driver put the window down and offered us a umbrella because he found we were wet through.     Life is full of various experiences, some of them are unforgettable. I still remember the hiking experiences with my classmates for 16 km a year later. That summer day, we set off early in the morning, think it would be great fun to walk for so long a distance.     The Moments(朋友圈) section of WeChat has become the popular part of the social networking platform. We can share everything about their life on it with our friend. Many teenagers, however, chose to keep their parents out their Moments. They argue that if their parents get involved, and they will feel upset. As far as I am concerning, I feel happily when my parents comment on my posts in my Moments. It shows their love and care for me. What's more, shut them off may make the generation gap bigger and bigger, when inviting them in would help us communicate better and feel closer to each other than before.
