Many drivers are not very clear about the roads in strange places. Especially, the navigation(导航) just tells the exit number, which makes it easy for drivers to get on the wrong road. However, now you don't have to worry about these complicated(复杂的) roads anymore. Lane(车道)level navigation based on the Beidou satellite system(北斗卫星系统) will be popular in China very soon.

The socalled lanelevel navigation uses highlycorrect technology to show us the real road situation. Compared with past navigation, it can provide exact road guidance in some complicated parts to help drivers choose the best way.

In January 2023, an online map officially introduced an enhanced version(加强版) of lane­level navigation, which helped make good use of the Beidou satellite system more deeply. It greatly improved the speed of receiving information and giving answers and the accuracy of accuracy lanelevel positioning.

In the new version of the online map, lanelevel navigation can be used on all kinds of roads. The new version has a different advantage from the old one: it can guide us clearly where to go in complicated crossings.

In big cities, for drivers who come to these cities for the first time, overhead bridges make it easy to make driving mistakes in strange places. So how does lane­level navigation solve the problem? After careful study, planning and organization, lanelevel navigation uses the Beidou satellite system to improve the positioning accuracy and guide drivers.

For the driverless industry, this map is a good piece of technology, which makes it safer and more widely used.

Pictures are falling off the walls. Lights are waving. Bed is shaking. Everything is moving. What's going on? It's an earthquake. 

Earthquakes are horrible disasters(灾难）and some of them are destructive, The top layer of the earth is made up of huge pieces of rock. They move past each other all the time along fault lines(裂纹线）. But sometimes two pieces get stuck together. When they finally move away from each other, they move suddenly. And this makes the land above them shake. This is the most common cause of earthquakes. 

During a small earthquake, you will feel a little shaking. But during a strong one, you will be thrown about. A strong earthquake is very horrible. Cracks will appear on the ground and windows and doors will break. Buildings will even fall down. So watch out! I f an earthquake happens at sea, it can make big waves called "tsunamis" (海啸). When these waves reach land, they can destroy villages. 

Earthquakes are measured on a scale of 0-9. It is called the Richter scale. A size 9 earthquake is the strongest and most dangerous. Since 1900, more than two million people have died in earthquakes. In 1976, a size 7. 8 earthquake hit Tangshan, China. It killed more than 240, 000 people!

Many earthquakes happened in China, so it is important for us to know what to do when an earthquake hits. Here are some tips on how to stay safe in an earthquake. 

Indoors

※Hide under a desk or bed. Stay away from windows and anything that could fall on you. 

※Do not get into a lift during an earthquake! When an earthquake has ended, stay under the desk until it is really safe to get up. 

※Open a window and get out of the building quickly if the gas line in your house is broken. 

Outdoors

※Move away from buildings and street lights. 

※Do not run outside if you are in a shop and far from the door. 

※Make sure you wear shoes after an earthquake. There may be broken glass on the ground. 

You can see many different kinds of food with different colors in life. Doctors and your parents always ask you to eat lots of green vegetables, because they are healthy for you. It's also good for you to have food of other colors. For example, you can have red food like tomatoes, yellow food like bananas and orange food like carrots. 

But what about blue food? 

A food company (公司) did a test. It put the color blue to its candies. Children like the color blue a lot, so would they like the blue candies? The test found that children didn't like them at all. They still liked red, green, brown, yellow and orange candies. 

How many blue fruits, or vegetables do you know? You can see little blue food in your life. People may think blue is not a food color and it's not safe or healthy to eat the food that is blue. This is why people don't often use blue for drinks, cakes and other food. 

Do you get angry when your friends sing loudly or when your best friend does not wait for you after school？If you do，you need to control （控制） your feelings and stop getting angry so easily. Getting angry easily can make you lose friends.

Gary Egeberg，an American high school teacher，wrote My Feelings Are Just Like Wild Animals to help you control your feelings. It tells boys and girls how to stay cool when bad things happen to them. The book says getting angry is not a natural way to act.  It is just a bad habit，like smoking. The book says you can control your anger easily，and all you have to do is to tell yourself not to be angry.

When a baby falls over，it cries only when people are watching it. Like a baby，you can only get angry if you are sure it is the right thing to do.

The book gives much advice to help you if you get angry easily. Here are the top three.

①Keep a record （记录）. Every time you get angry，write down why you are angry. Look at it later and you will see you get angry too easily.

②Ask your friends to stop talking to you when you get angry. This will help you calm down soon.

③Do something different. When you get angry，walk away from the problem. Try to laugh!

Dogs really are man's best friends, and they are very useful in some ways. 

A new study said that dogs can smell(闻) if people are feeling stressed(有压力的). They can smell the difference in breath(呼吸) and sweat(汗液) from people. Then they can tell if people are. stressed or not. It could be 93.75 percent right! A study from scientists at Queen's University Belfast, UK, said this. 

Scientists got breath and sweat from people both before and after doing a hard maths problem. They looked at the people's heart rate(心率), blood pressure(血压) and stress level(压力水平) in the study. The dogs found stress in 675 of the 720 people, that is 93.75 percent of the people, reported Australian news. 

Stress makes people's breath and sweat different. Dogs can smell that difference, said the study's writer Clara Wilson. In the study, she also said this finding helps us know how dogs may know people's feelings.
