In the week before Christmas, one Delta airlines pilot gave a sad Arizona family a gift that no one else could.

    Father of three, Jay short died after a 1with lung cancer Dec, 16^th. Three days later, his family was attempting to 2to Tennessee for the funeral scheduled for the next morning.     Two weeks earlier, my son, Ben, had got in touch. He'd moved to England with his mum when he was three and it had been 13 years since I'd 1 seen him. So imagine my 2 when he emailed me saying he wanted to come to visit me.

    I was 3 ! I arrived early at Byron Bay where we were supposed to 4 . The bay was5 in sunshine, and there was a group of kayakers around 150m off the shore.     I understand that, in middle school, we were all young. I've been able to 18 all the people who bullied me, but for some 19 I can't seem to forgive Evan. Those words that day hurt me more than anything. I believe that one day I'll be 20enough to forgive Evan too. But right now I'm still that twelve-year-old running down the hall with tears filled with his eyes.

A welcome gift

    Dario and his mother loved their new apartment.  The living room was large enough for their piano. That night, the two of them 1 side by side at the piano. They played jazz music to celebrate their new home. The loud 2filled the room and made them feel very happy.

He was already looking forward to 19 the new music. More than that, however, he was happy to see the big smile on his mother's face. More Than I Had Dreamed Of

    From the time I was seven, I had a dream of becoming a member of the Students' Union. I always 1 my school leaders for taking responsibility for all of us. So I dreamed of being a leader. Years flew by, and soon I was able to participate in the elections, 2 I would win. But the reality struck that I hadn't had a chance. I wasn't pretty. Girls across the school hardly knew me. I just did not have what it 3 to win a school election. I was 4. As I cried in my room that evening, I 5 took a deep breath and decided I wouldn't stop dreaming. I decided that I would 6 elections again in my final year at school — and I would win.

    I recognized that my 7 had a lot of things in their favor. What were the 8 that would work in my favor? I had good grades, and I was friendly and helpful. And my biggest 9 was the faith I had. I would not allow my 10 appearance to hold me back from putting my best foot forward. That evening, I 11 my election plans a whole year in advance.

    I realized that girls would have to get to know me and recognize that I had the ability to 12 them. I loved making friends and I liked being helpful, 13 I decided that perhaps I could use these qualities to work to my advantage. In order to learn how to present a great election 14, I also attended a course on effective public speaking.

    The day after the election, when the principal announced I won the second highest number of votes, the students 15. That joy on the faces of all my friends showed me that my victory was 16 theirs.

So I knew what this man was11. When I asked why it was a forever good-bye, he said he was12and her daughter lived much too far away. He guessed this departure might be the13before his funeral. When I asked him why they said "I wish you enough", he explained that had been14from other generations. His parents used to say it to15, by which they wanted other people to have a life filled with enough16things to support them.
