    One day Mrs. Smith invited many people to her house. She wanted to cook them a good dinner of meat and soup. She had five daughters. They were all busy. Mrs. Smith was busy, too. She forgot to put any salt into the soup. So she asked Mary, one of her daughters, to help her. “I can't, Mum. I'm busy now.” said Mary. She asked the other girls, but got the same answer.     Mark Twain left school when he was twelve. He had little school education. In spite of this, he became the most famous writer of his time. He made millions of dollars by writing. His real name was Samuel Langhorne Clemens, but he is better known all over the world as Mark Twain, his penname.
