When he didn't become famous, Albert Einstein, one of the greatest scientists in the world, lived a hard life, wearing casually. Someone reminded him he should have a decent(得体的) coat so as to enter the society.

    He said, "I'm unknown. Even if I wear more handsomely, no one will know me. "A few years later, Einstein became a world-famous scientist, who still wore casually. The man again reminded he should have a coat made quickly, or it would disagree with the fame of a great scientist. Einstein said with a smile, "Now, even if I wear ragged(衣衫褴褛的)clothes, people will know me."

    Sometimes, he even wore a sports shirt and a pair of sandals to the University of Berlin when he worked as a professor in Germany. His friends didn't agree with him, but he said jokingly, "If the bag is better than the meat inside, it will be a bad thing."

Kate's Hobby

My name is Kate. I have always wanted to have my own hobby. Until high school, I didn't get a hobby, although I tried many clubs. Last year, my friend  {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (邀请) me to a photo exhibition. At the exhibition, I saw a group of photos by a local  {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (艺术家) who told his life experiences with photos. I suddenly realized that what was  {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (珍贵的) than the photo itself was the story behind the photo, and I became interested in photography. 

Since then, I have dreamed  {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (发明；创造) fantastic works to tell my own life stories. However, I couldn't  {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (付得起) to buy a camera then. Luckily, my grandfather gave me one on my birthday. Then I started taking photos everywhere. I put my photos on the  {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (架子) in my room. My photos have kept my memories of wonderful old days. Taking photos has also become another way for me  {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (交流) with the world. 

Through {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (每日的) practice, my photography skills have improved greatly. So far my photos  {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (赢得) many prizes and I'm really proud of myself. {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (也许) I will hold my own photo exhibition one day.

I have a friend named Monty Roberts who owns a horse ranch （牧场）. He has let me use his 1 to raise money for youth at risk programs.

At No. 150 High School of Changchun, Jilin Province, there are some talented students. They recreated the work A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains that{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(paint) by Wang Ximeng during the Northern Song Dynasty.

Zhou Baile is among{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(they). He spent much time and energy on the work. Once there was yellow paint on his school uniform. His family suggested that he change into a new school uniform,{#blank#}3{#/blank#} he refused." For me, the paint is a symbol of creation," Zhou said.

" The painting is 11 metres long and it took the students 129 days{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(finish) it," said Duan Yingzi, the art teacher who guided the students.

{#blank#}5{#/blank#}2022, Duan started a painting club to teach students to enjoy and copy the works of many famous Chinese art masters. A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains was one of the works. Later, Duan started{#blank#}6{#/blank#} painting project to copy the great work.

When they carried out the project, the students {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(careful) worked step by step, bringing the painting to life again on a big wall. They even added their own creative ideas.

" Seeing our work, I can sense how {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(excite) Wang Ximeng felt when he finished his great work," said one of the students." The process not only improves our {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(skill), but also helps us get relaxed," Zhou said.

Through the project, Duan {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(hope) the students can increase their understanding of Chinese painting and pass on the excellent traditional Chinese culture.
