Spring is coming. For students in the US, this means that a vacation is on its way. Students may have the spring at 1times. So while students from one town are on vacation, their neighbors in the next town might have classes as usual.

    Spring vacation is 2 known as "spring break". During this time, students have one to two weeks3from school. The break usually happens in late March or April. Some 4 plan the vacation to take place on the same week as Easter(复活节). Not all schools do this, though. Since Easter is 5on a Sunday, students whocelebrate the holiday do not need to worry 6 missing school.

    Spring break is a fun and relying time. Teachers usually don't give   7 over the break, so students can8 their days and nights free from school -time stress.

    There are lots of ways to spend the time. Some families go on vacation, visiting a new state or 9 a new count. Others may travel to visit family members who live far away. Or students may enjoy the break by relaxing at home, reading books and watching movies, visiting friends' houses, and taking day trips.

Everyone wears shoes. We wear them every day to avoid{#blank#}1{#/blank#}our feet. We can buy shoes in many places. But maybe most of us don't know about the process of shoemaking because now most shoes are produced by{#blank#}2{#/blank#}. Here I will tell you how to make a pair of shoes.

The first step is drawing a design. Next, the shoemaker will use paper to make a pattern. Then the shoemaker draws the pattern on some{#blank#}3{#/blank#}like leather(皮革)and cloth. After that, he cuts the leather with scissors and then he will sew(缝) and glue the leather pieces together.

Then the shoemaker connects the pieces to the insole(鞋内底).The insole is the part of the shoe that{#blank#}4{#/blank#}your feet. Next, the shoe is heated to make the leather soft so it can be shaped. Then the shoe goes in an oven. This helps it keep{#blank#}5{#/blank#}form. At the same time the shoemaker works on the lower(较低的) parts of the shoe. When all the parts are ready, the shoemaker glues and sews them together. After these steps, a pair of shoes is completed.

Baseball is one of the most popular sports in the USA.Each team has nine players. The baseball season goes from April to September. The members of the important baseball teams become heroes. At the end of the season,the two top teams play together. Lots of baseball fans go to watch the games. There are also thousands of baseball fans listening to the radio or watching TV.People always talk about the games. They still talk about the results and the players,even if the games are over. American football is more popular than baseball in theUSA.When the baseball season ends,the football season begins. When there is an important American football game,millions of people sit in front of the TV set to watch it. 

Many people even sit beside the radio to hear the result when they are working.

Hi! My name is Grace.  I'm a student in Sunshine Middle School.  My school is beautiful.  There are 2,000 students and teachers in my school. 

I'm in Class Five Grade Seven.  My classroom is on the second floor of the classroom building.  There are forty desks and forty chairs in our classroom.  You can also see a big desk.  The big desk is for our teachers. 

There is a small office next to my classroom.  There are three desks and three chairs.  They are for Mr.  Wang, Mr.  Zhang and Mr.  Li.  Mr.  Wang is our Chinese teacher.  Mr.  Zhang is our English teacher and Mr.  Li is our math teacher. 

There is a great shop in Linda Tutt High School in the USA. It's not the same(相同的) as other shops. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} That sounds very interesting,right?

The shop sells things to the students three days a week, from Monday to Wednesday. Every Tuesday,the shop is open to other people for one hour. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}

Because of the shop,many people in need get help. The students in this school learn a lot,too. What a great shop!
