The sweetest job

Harry is only 12, but he is working for a sweet company. His job is probably the best in the company—the sweet tester. When the company invents a new sweet, Harry eats it, writes are port about it and sends his report to the factory. And then the company will make a decision about whether to make the sweet or not. As a child, he's too young to work for money. But he gets free sweets!

Recently,16-year-old Olympic champion Quan Hongchan attracted most attention in her first Asian Games held in Hangzhou, 2023. She's made history in the women's10-meter platform diving event.

Quan was born in the city of Zhanjiang in south China's Guangdon g Province, and started diving at the age of 7. In 2018, she joined the Guangdong Diving Team, spending three years there before breaking into the national team at the end of 2020. He Weiyi, a diving coach at the Guangdon g Provincial Sports Team said, "Up on the 10-meter platform, it was where Quan showed her talent. It looks high up here, but believe it or not, in just three years' time, Quan could manage some very difficult sets of movements. Her development was much quicker than most athletes, I'd say she's got outstanding talent." But talent alone doesn't always make sure of success. For Quan, hard work has been the key to success. Quan always practices harder than other athletes around her age. Because of her great effort and achievement in diving, she has attracted the public attention all over the world.

"Quan is actually a very easygoing person and she is always energetic during training and competition. She always carries a smile and shines in many ways. I hope she will always have the heart she has now and keep chasing her dreams." said 18-year-old Chen, a teammate, during an exclusive (独家的) interview with China Daily.

I'm thinking about this question these days.I have changed greatly since last year in Grade 8.I used to be active and like making friends.That made me happy.But now I'm quiet and strict with myself because there will be a very important exam in June next year.I don't have much time to chat with friends after class.I feel stressed out.
