    Bobby likes wearing hats. Hats make him feel cool. Hats1the sun out of his eyes. His favorite hat is a baseball hat.

    Last year, Bobby saved money every month to buy the baseball2 . After a few3 , he had enough money for the new hat. Although it4 him some months to buy one, he was excited.

    Bobby bought a new red hat because his favorite baseball team wore  5  hats. When he put on his new hat, he felt he was a part of the team. When Bobby's father saw the new hat, he was kind of6. He didn't think his son could save so much money.

    One day Bobby's father got two7tickets, so he planned to take his son to watch a baseball game. Bobby was very happy to wear his new red hat to the8. He was very excited to watch his favorite team. He thought he was one of them, 9 all the team wore the same red hats.

    His team won the game, and Bobby was very happy. The new hat was good and it10 his favorite team good luck. And it was really good to spend time with Dad.

    Maxime and Lise are a young French couple. They are ready to travel across China from Beijing to Yunnan Province on a tandem bicycle (双人自行车). They have two main purposes and one of them is that they want to encourage green 1 through it.

    Maxime, 26, works helping farmers raise their cows2 his wife Lise, 26, is a teacher. The two also like sharing their travel stories on Facebook.

    “We choose a tandem bicycle because it makes it3 to communicate with each other about interesting people and things we come across during the journey4bicycling is healthier. And it's a cheaper and more environment-friendly way of traveling than5 cars, motors and so on,” the couple said.

    As for the other 6of their journey, the two said they wanted to get people's good ideas on topics such as health, economy (经济) and politics. When they were asked7they chose to visit China, they said it was because they often talked about its long history and beauty and how much of the country is competitive (有竞争力的) in the world.

    “We know China is a country with a large population and will be the 8 of the economy around the world in the future. We want to get a better understanding of the country and its people. We9 the country,” they said.

    The couple will be on their journey to China soon. We hope they can make more people further10 China by sharing what they see and hear on the way. Meanwhile, we hope they enjoy their travel in China.

    He was pleased to learn that Chibi knew all the places where the wild grapes and wild potatoes grew. He was amazed to 1how much Chibi knew about all the flowers in our class garden. He liked Chibi's black and white drawings and put them up on the wall to be 2. He liked Chibi's own handwriting, which no one but Chibi could read, and he put that up on the wall.

    Bu t, when Chibi appeared on the stage at the talent show of that year, no one could 3his eyes.“ Who is that?”“ What can that stupid do up there?”

    Until Mr Isobe announced that Chibi was going to imitate(模仿)the voices of crows. “ Voices?”“ Voices of crows?”

    4he imitated the voices of newly hatched crows. And he made the mother crow's voice. He showed how crows cry early in the morning. He showed how crows cry when the village people have some unhappy accident. He showed how crows 5when they are happy and cheerful. Everybody's mind was taken to the6mountainside from which Chibi probably came to school.

    Chibi made very special 7deep down in his throat(喉咙)to imitate a crow in an old tree in the end. Now everybody could imagine8the far and lonely place whe re Chibi lived with his family.

    Then Mr Isobe explained 9 Chibi had learned those calls--leaving his home for school at sunrise, and arriving home at sunset, every day for six long years.

    Every one of us cried, thinking how much we had been 10 to Chibi all those long years.

    No visitor was left in the museum now, and John was walking around to check if everything was all right.1 he saw a beautiful painting lying on the floor. John2 and gave it to the curator (馆长). The curator called several museums to check if it was a stolen painting3no one claimed(认领) it. So the curator decided to hang it.4said it was beautiful and had a very deep meaning.     A small village was being troubled by a lion. It would come out at night and kill people, as well as kill their chickens and cows.

    One day, the village leader sent a 1to a great hunter(猎人), Jones, asking him to come and kill the lion. Jones agreed and began to take action. Jones spent several 2waiting for the lion, but it never came out.

    Finally, Jones told the village leader to kill a cow and give him its skin(皮). He would3 the skin and pretend (假装) to be a cow so that the lion would come out. This way, he could get a chance to kill the lion. After putting the cow's skin over his shoulders, Jones went to a farm to wait for the lion.

    In the middle of the night, the villagers 4to the sound of shouting coming from the farm. They thought Jones was in danger and quickly ran to the farm. When they arrived, they saw Jones 5on the ground, crying in pain. There was no sign of the lion at all.
