If we find a bird nest, we will have a good place of watching and knowing about birds. Birds sit on eggs and take care of their babies from April to June. Because the baby birds are too young to leave the nest, parents often go to look for food and come back in several minutes. So it is good to watch birds. When we watch birds, we'd better hide ourselves in a close place to the nest, and it's better to use binoculars (双筒望远镜).

But how do we make a bird nest? A good bird nest must be very fine, strong, thick and comfortable. If you want to make one, please follow these:

Each nest must have six boards (木板) for its cover and floor, for its left and right sides, and for its front and back sides. Don't make the boards too slippery (滑的).

Dig a small hole in the front of the nest as a "door". The "door" is big enough so birds canfly in or out easily.

Make sure the rainwater can't go into the nest.

One piece of the board should be easy to open.

Don't forget to colour the nest.

When the first person looked up at the sky, the imagination of the space began. In China, there are many stories about the exploration of space.

Thousands of years ago, there was a lady named Chang'e who flew to the Moon and lived there. It's a story just living in myths(神话). In the Ming Dynasty, a man named Wan Hu used the machine which was made of a chair, some fireworks and a kite as a rocket. He wanted to go into the space but failed. He was considered as the first human to try to explore the space.

In 2003, when Shenzhou V successfully set off, Yang Liwei's words" ask for instructions to go to the war" brought tears(眼泪) to our eyes. Carrying the flying dream of the Chinese nation for thousands of years, the first" space visitor" of China, excellently completed his task. It started the space age for the Chinese. In 2008, Zhai Zhigang, Liu Boming and Jing Haipeng returned to space by Shenzhou VII. Zhai achieved the success of the first Chinese spacewalk. "I am out of the capsule(太空舱), I feel good, " he told the world proudly.

In the following years, China kept on making its way to explore more about the space. Especially in the recent two years, China has launched (发射) Shenzhou XIII and Shenzhou XIV. Six astronauts have been sent into the space.

From 2003 to 2022, China's manned space- flight has gone through about twenty years of hard, but successful journey. With the take- off again and again, Chinese people go farther and farther in space, but our dream is getting closer and closer.

In the near future, Chinese people will be sent to the Moon and land on it.

William Shakespeare was born in Stratford-upon-Avon in 1564 on April the 23rd. His father was an important man in the town, so Shakespeare had a good childhood. Shakespeare probably went to school but not university. He got married when he was 18 to Anne Hathaway and the couple had 3 children.

Shakespeare wrote 38 plays and 154 sonnets. He began working in his hometown of Stratford, but by 1592, he began writing in London. He became rich enough to buy a house in the capital and another in Stratford. He wrote sad stories called tragedies (悲剧) like Romeo and Juliet, funny stories called comedies, romantic stories and stories about history, such as Julius Caesar.

Shakespeare died on his birthday in 1616, almost 400 years ago. But why are his works still popular today? His works looked into common human themes (主题) . They are a part of human nature today as they were all those years ago and in modern soap operas and Hollywood films.

We feel Shakespeare's influence (影响) on the English language today. We talk about "fair play", meaning honest behavior, and this phrase was first used by Shakespeare. And it was Shakespeare who came up with the expression of "disappear into thin air", which we still use it today when we lose something. Besides, Shakespeare's works have been translated into many other languages in the world.
