"What's wrong, dear?" said Mrs. Smith to the little boy, Tom Blair, who had tears (眼泪) in his eyes.

    From Monday to Friday students usually get up at seven. Then they wash their faces and have breakfast. They usually have eggs, bacon(熏肉), bread, fruit and a glass of milk. After breakfast they go to school on foot or by yellow school 1. Some students ride bikes. They get to school at about half past eight. He stands in front of the first one.Oh，no!The boy in the mirror is not him.He is short and fat.Then Sam comes to another mirror.This time he is very thin and tall and his legs are very long.In the third mirror，Sam is tall with a long neck.Sam thinks he looks really funny and laughs. "You look like a giraffe （长颈鹿），" Mom says and laughs，too.

Sam comes to the fourth mirror. "Look，Mom，" Sam says， "It's me.I'm not tall or short.And I'm not fat or thin.I'm of medium build.It's good."

"What makes you look different in the other three mirrors？" Mom asks.
