To understand why the Earth is warming up.{#blank#}1{#/blank#}  (one) of all, we need to understand why it is warm. Our planet {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (cover) with atmosphere(大气）.Sunlight passes  {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (通过) the atmosphere and reaches the Earth. The Sun heats up the  {#blank#}4{#/blank#}  (Earth) surface. When the heat rises into the air, it is stopped by some special gases in the atmosphere like CO₂, the{#blank#}5{#/blank#}  (hot) returns to the Earth and keeps it{#blank#}6{#/blank#}  (warm) .

Power stations and cars release (释放) so {#blank#}7{#/blank#}  (much) greenhouse gases every day. So we can help stop global (全球的) warming by using less electric things such as{#blank#}8{#/blank#} (关掉) lights when we leave a room, or asking our parents to turn down the heating in our house{#blank#}9{#/blank#}  (save) energy. We can also stop global warming by finding other{#blank#}10{#/blank#}  (way) of transportation. For example, ride a bicycle or walk instead of going by car. Another way to help stop global warming is to plant and care for trees. Because trees take in CO₂, they are our best friends when fighting against global warming.

    Fears are something we all have. You need to face your fears and to get over them. However, it's easier said than d{#blank#}1{#/blank#}. Running away from your fears doesn't make them leave. It just makes them b{#blank#}2{#/blank#} than ever. We're never going to be completely fearless of everything we do, but we can at l{#blank#}3{#/blank#} be more fearless and confident.

    What are the fears that scare(吓唬) you much? Check w{#blank#}4{#/blank#} they are and get them out in the open. Are they things like height or snakes? Are you a{#blank#}5{#/blank#} to talk to girls or boys? Are you so shy that you are fearing to say the wrong things? These are common fears that i{#blank#}6{#/blank#} your daily lives.

    Before you can f{#blank#}7{#/blank#} them, you need to learn more about what makes you fearful of these situations. Communicating your fear is one way. Other people may be able to realize your anxiety(焦虑) b{#blank#}8{#/blank#} they know something you don't.It could be from past experience, something that you could never forget and has made you fearful since then.

    To face fears, you have to believe in something. It's a very healthy way of letting you feel as if nothing can go w{#blank#}9{#/blank#}. When you feel that way, you may be able to think differently about your f{#blank#}10{#/blank#}. You will be able to believe that everything will be okay. Everything does end up being okay.

    After {#blank#}1{#/blank#} an hour, Ted and Jenny sat {#blank#}2{#/blank#} to relax. At that time, they saw a squirrel（松鼠）{#blank#}3{#/blank#} a pine nut (松子）in a big tree. When they saw the squirrel eating, they felt {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. They went to help their parents take the food out of the basket. Ted had a hamburger. Hamburgers were his favorite food. Jenny had an apple. Mr. and Mrs. White had some bread. They {#blank#}5{#/blank#} in the park.

    I work in a school library. There are many kinds of {#blank#}1{#/blank#} in it. They are about English, science, history, music and so on. You can do some {#blank#}2{#/blank#}or borrow books from it. But there are some {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. You must obey (遵守) them.

    When you are reading in the library, you have to be {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. Don't talk loudly or make any noise (喧哗). You can't listen to music, {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. You can't {#blank#}6{#/blank#}your bags or wet umbrellas into the library. {#blank#}7{#/blank#} eat in the library. You can {#blank#}8{#/blank#} books from the library, {#blank#}9{#/blank#} you can't lend them to others. You have to take good care of them and return them on {#blank#}10{#/blank#}. If the library books are lost, you have to pay for them.
