Last night I had a wonderful dream. I {#blank#}1{#/blank#} that I turned into a good swimmer.
In my dream, the weather {#blank#}2{#/blank#} fine and I came to a nice beach. There were few people on the beach and I {#blank#}3{#/blank#} to swim in the sea. While I was swimming, some {#blank#}4{#/blank#} fish followed me all the time. When I stopped, they came to swam {#blank#}5{#/blank#} me. Then, one of the fish began to talk with me. It {#blank#}6{#/blank#} Chinese, too! We had a wonderful conversation. Soon we became good {#blank#}7{#/blank#} and it invited me to visit the place where they lived.
{#blank#}8{#/blank#} I heard a voice, “Weiwei, it's time to get up! Breakfast is ready!” It was Mom's voice. Just then I woke up from my sweet dream {#blank#}9{#/blank#} had to face the real world again.
My dream was {#blank#}10{#/blank#} like a cartoon film, wasn't it?

    Tina is my English teacher. She is from England and is about 29 years old. She{#blank#}1{#/blank#}(have) blonde hair and she always wears a pair of{#blank#}2{#/blank#} (glass) on her nose.

    She is strict {#blank#}3{#/blank#} us in our studies, so all the students are well—behaved in her classes. She is strict, {#blank#}4{#/blank#} she can get along {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (good) with all the students because she is very kind and {#blank#}6{#/blank#}  (patience).  Whenever we have difficulty in English learning, she will help us to deal with the problems(问题). We all like her lessons very much. That's because she is very creative. Her {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(teach) style is quite different {#blank#}8{#/blank#} that of the others. She prepares her lessons well and corrects our homework {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (careful). In class she always encourages us {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (work) hard and develops our ability to study on our own.

    In a word, I think she is one of the best English teachers I have ever seen. We all love and respect her.

    It was a quarter past Tine Mr. Beet hadn't come back His wife was a bit worried. The super was cold and she had waited for two and a half hours. She was sitting by the table in a dark room. She closed her {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (eye) and listened carefully. Her neighbour Mr. Turner's television was on. She liked the pop music, {#blank#}2{#/blank#} she would not turn on hers.

    Her husband worked in an office. He worked hard so that he was paid a lot. The things in his home, such {#blank#}3{#/blank#} the television, the computer, the fridge and so on, were all left by his parents. He and his wife only had to pay {#blank#}4{#/blank#} their food and clothes. They tried to save money. If they ever felt sick, they just bought some medicine instead of {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (see) a doctor.

    Suddenly the woman {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (hear) someone coming upstairs. It was her husband who came back. She hurried to open the door. In the dark she could hear his deep breathing. As {#blank#}7{#/blank#} as he sat down, she turned on the light and found he looked very tired.

    "{#blank#}8{#/blank#} do you come back so late, dear?" asked the woman. "Didn't you take the bus?”

    "No, I didn't take it. I ran after it and I saved two dollars this evening."

    "That's great!" the woman said {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (happy). "Run after a taxi next time and you {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (save) even.
