    My summer travel started terribly. I was at the Shanghai Railway Station buy a Ticket to Hangzhou. I was going to visit a friend here and after that I would go to Xiamen for long holiday.     I'm the only daughter of my parents. So they worried about everything I do. For example, when I ride my bike, my parents won't let me ride by myself. I'm not free to ride and I often say angry, 'Why not let me ride alone?' Now, most family have one child. Parents want to do everything for his children. This does no good on them. Too much love from parents may prevent children from become independent. In my opinion, parents should let their children do that they should do alone.

    With the improvement of people's living standards, cars have become popular means of transport, bring great convenience to our life. Therefore, they have also caused some problems such as air pollutions and traffic jams.

    How can we solve these problems then? As far as I am concerning, riding bicycles is a good solution. For one thing, bicycles don't need any petrol and they are energy-saving. For another, bicycles are environmental friendly because of they won't give off waste gas. Besides, riding bicycles was a good way for us to exercise and it is beneficial for our health.

    There are many people who help me a lot, among whom are my English teacher, Miss Zhao. I still remember being asked a question in his class, but I fail to answer it.
