    With the development of modem technology, there are plenty ways for us to contact people. One of our most favorite ways is probably WeChat.     Last week, my parents took me to the seaside. As soon as we reached the beach, I ran to the sea and jump in the water. The water rolled away from us.     My father is an engineer. Although he is in Africa most time of the year and there isn't much time for him to be with the family, but we are all proud in him. He builds railways there. It's important part of the great Belt and Road project. At first people there found the Chinese and their work strangely. My father often saw people running after trains out of curious. People there even didn't understand that the Chinese people work very hard. Now, however, the African people have seen the benefits bringing by the railways and they are willing to make friends with the Chinese here. My father had already made some African friends and one of them is planning to come to visit us. We are looking forward to show our African guest around our city.

Dear sir,

    I am sorry to write to you, but I feel it my responsibility to do so, so we should pay attention to our living environment while develop our economy. Yesterday we paid the visit to a chemical factory. When we go out of the factory, we saw that the environment nearby was so bad polluted. The water in the river was so black as coal. There were no living things in them. What's worse, the crops there didn't grow well. We hope our government can make the factory to take measures to prevent the pollution.     Our class joined in a meaningful activity during the winter vacation. First, we went to visit the old lady who lived all alone. Some chatted with her but others helped do a thorough cleaning for us. When the work was done, the house looked real neat and tidy. Then we went to the sport center, where all equipment needed polished. We set out to work at once. Everything was dust-free at no time. Having done all this, we saw a pleasant community than before. Tiring as we were, we felt happy as all of our work was paid off.
