Do you know what an e—friend is? You make a friend with him or her by sending e—mails. Having e—friends is good for you. You can tell them your family, problems and good things. They can teach you many things and help you get out of problems. Some of them may send you e—cards on your birthday.

If your e—friends come from English—speaking countries, they will help you learn English. Writing to them in English is good for your English learning. Some of them may invite you to their countries, and take you to visit their countries.

Where can you make e—friends? You can visit some websites. There are many boys and girls, and you can make friends with some of them.

When I was in the middle school, I seldom raised my hands to answer questions in class. And I found lots of my classmates were just like me. When the teacher asked a question, I always lowered my head because I was afraid that the teacher saw me.

One day, in a foreign language class, Mr. Black gave us a lesson. He wanted us to be active in class, so he asked us some questions, but no one answered. "At the beginning of the class, let me tell you a story. " He said.

I come from Marrakesh, Morocco. Marrakesh has a long history, and it is one of the largest cities in our country. Marrakesh is in the desert (沙漠). It hardly ever rains here. It can get very hot in summer, usually over 35℃. Marrakesh is famous for its beautiful buildings. Food is very cheap in some street shops here.

My home town is in the north of Thailand. It is a very small town. It is always hot, especially in summer. And it rains a lot from around July to November. The weather is not good enough, but my home town is very beautiful. You can see beautiful mountains, forests, rivers, and waterfalls here.

 My name is Susan. I am a student of Sunny Middle School. It's a nice and beautiful school. Here is a map of it.

 Look at the map of our school. This is the music hall, just next to the science building. The music hall is a yellow building with two floors. We often listen to music in it. Sometimes, we have music lessons in it, too. The science building is vellow, too. A small shop is between the science building and the teachers' building. We can buy many kinds of school things in it. The teachers' building is white. Our teachers often correct(批改) our homework or prepare (准备) lessons in it. In front of the teachers' building is the school hall. It's new and nice. We often have parties or speeches(演讲) in it. There is a large sports field in our school. All the students go there and do exercises together in the morning. The classroom building is between the school hall and the sports field. We spend most of the time in our classroom. It's big and clean.

①Today, it is a big problem for young people to get fine jobs after they leave universities. There are different kinds of jobs in the world. But how should young people choose the right one? That often worries them. 

②"Finding a job" is not the same as"choosing a job". Many young people can't get right jobs. Here are a few steps to help you think about jobs which you might enjoy doing after you leave school or university. 

③First, it is important to know what kind of person you are, what special qualities you have and what you are interested in? There is a difference between an interest and a skill. If you like art and enjoy looking at pictures, that is an interest. But if you can draw a horse and it looks like a horse not a big dog, that is a skill. 

④Then ask yourself a question, "Of the following three skills— skill with people, skill with information and skill with things, which is my best skill?"

⑤After finding out your best skill, the next step is to study carefully. To find out as many different kinds of jobs as possible, go to the library and read books, magazines and newspapers for information. Ask your friends what they think of the work they do. 

⑥The last step is to trust your own ideas and your own thinking! It is your own life. Just find the job you really enjoy doing.
