Ever since I was a child，my mouth has caused me trouble. I'm not a bad person；I have a 1 time learning when to stop saying bad things to others.

My mom has told me again and again，"Robert，your constant（不断的）bad words are hurting me. If you 2 to be this rude，you will get into big trouble."

 It's been a problem at school several times too when teachers have told me something I didn't want to hear. I used to feel it was my 3  to stand up for myself.

 One day in English class I was working on my homework when I heard a classmate  4 behind me. It was Nathaniel，who liked doing that as usual.

I said ever so 5 ， "Nathaniel，would you be quiet？"

Nathaniel kept saying something to himself. I quickly 6 ， "Nathaniel，shut up！"

 For the next five minutes，we threw hurtful words back and forth at each other.

"At least I don't have an ugly lazy eye like you!"I cried out.

 I knew this would make him  7  and it would hurt his feelings and shut him up.

What I said filled him with anger. He tried to 8 over my seat and catch me as he screamed，"That's it！That's it！"

9 at his reaction（反应），I sat back in my seat. I had never seen Nathaniel act like this before. Later on，we were taken to the teachers' office. There，Mr. Black，our English teacher，told us to 10 the matter.  At the end of the discussion，I said  13 to Nathaniel.

    Like any other good mother, Karen did whatever she could to help her three-year-old son, Michael, get prepared for a new baby when she found out that another baby was on the way. They 1 that the new baby was going to be a girl, and day after night, Michael sang to his 2 in Mommy's tummy(肚子）.

No children are allowed.” Karen said firmly,” He is not leaving 8  he sings to his sister!” Michael was sent 9  his sister's bed. He began to sing. In the sweet 10  of a three-year-old, Michael sang: “You are my sunshine, my only sunshine; you make me happy when skies are gray...”11  the baby girl moved. The pulse rate(脉搏）became calm.

    Michael kept on 12 . “You never know, dear, how much I love you. Please don't take my sunshine away...”The breathing became smooth.

    Michael kept on singing, “The other night, dear, as I lay sleeping, I dreamed I held you in my 13 ...”Michael's little sister relaxed.

    Michael kept on singing, “you are my sunshine, my only sunshine. Please don't take my sunshine away.”

    The next day--the very next day--the little girl was 14  enough to go home!

    The doctors just thought it a miracle(奇迹）.Karen 15  it a miracle of love!

    No visitor was left in the museum now, and John was walking around to check if everything was all right.1 he saw a beautiful painting lying on the floor. John2 and gave it to the curator (馆长). The curator called several museums to check if it was a stolen painting3no one claimed(认领) it. So the curator decided to hang it.4said it was beautiful and had a very deep meaning. The curator was5to have such a painting in his museum and congratulated John on his discovery. Some weeks later a woman and her 6came to the museum. While they were looking at that painting, the little boy began to7. The curator went over and asked what was making him so sad. The child pointed to 8and said, "That's my painting and I want it back."

    One day an angel (天使) came across three peas. She said she could help each of them 1 a dream.

    The first pea wanted to fly in the sky, and the second one's 2 was to swim in the sea. The third one said it had been 3 going to a place where it could bring happiness to others. The angel 4 them where they wanted to go. The first pea fell onto the5 after a long flight and was eaten by a hen. The second one sank into the sea and had to stay in the darkness alone all its life. The third one flew into a flower pot (花盆) whose 6 was a poor little girl. Having been ill for a long time, she was very 7 and couldn't go outside.

    One day, when the girl was walking as usual in the house, she 8 a small pea plant in the flower pot. 9 the plant only had two tiny leaves, it seemed to be cheerful.
