Every time when I look at the moon, I wish I could go there. Do you wish you could fly to the moon in a spaceship one day?

For hundreds of years, men have wanted to travel to the moon. When they looked at the moon, they asked many questions. Was the moon hot or cold? Were there any plants or other living things there? There were many, many other questions.

We know much about the moon now. Scientists have studied the moon for many years and have found out many facts. So far, some men have got to the moon on spaceships.

Scientists have found that the moon is much smaller than the earth. It is about one quarter the size of the earth. It is traveling round the earth all the time. There are not any plants or other living things on the moon, because there is no air or water there.

Days and nights on the moon are very long. One day on the moon is as long as two weeks on the earth. One night is also as long as two weeks on the earth. In the day the moon is very hot. At night it is very cold. The moon is much hotter and much colder than the earth.

There is another surprising thing. On the moon things are not as heavy as they are on the earth. Isn't that interesting? Perhaps one day we can all travel to the moon. It must be great fun.

 语法填空

Life in space is much different from life on the earth. How do astronauts live in space?

Eating

In the past, astronauts {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (eat)only small pieces of dried food. But now astronauts are able to have more everyday food like fruit, vegetables and ice cream.

Sleeping

All the people in the ISS(国际空间站) have {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (they) own rooms. They have to tie (绑) themselves to their beds, or they'll fly away! That seems like {#blank#}3{#/blank#} strange way to sleep. But astronauts say it's not so bad

{#blank#}4{#/blank#} (sleep) in space.

Exercising

This is {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (important) in space than on the earth. Astronauts exercise on bikes and other machines

{#blank#}6{#/blank#} ab out two hours every day. In this way, they can be healthy when they get back home.

Having Fun

Astronauts can read books, play cards, listen to music or send emails to their friends and families {#blank#}7{#/blank#} they aren't working. Sometimes they just sit and look out of the window {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (quiet). It's also much fun!

Astronauts are hard-working whether in space or on the earth. {#blank#}9{#/blank#}the work sometimes is difficult, they still show interest in it and love the job. Many students think {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (astronaut) lives is very funny and they also want to be astronauts in the future.

There's a new AI robot: ChatGPT, and you'd better pay attention, even if you aren't interested in AI. The tool is an AI chat robot system that Open AI, a company, invented(发明) in November 2022 to show off and test.

ChatGPT remembers the main information of your talks, using earlier questions and answers to make its next reply quickly. It gets its answers from lots of information on the Internet. ChatGPT is built on top of the Open AI GPT-3 family of large language models(模型).

You can ask ChatGPT anything, like physics, birthday party ideas and any kinds of help. Perhaps it's not smart enough to take the place of all humans yet, but it can be creative, and its answers can sound pretty excellent. A few days after its use, more than 1 million people were trying out ChatGPT. Walmsley said in February 2023 that it only took ChatGPT two months to reach 100 million monthly users while TikTok spent about 9 months and Instagram needed two and a half years.

ChatGPT is free to use at the moment. But when too many people use the server(服务器), it can't answer your questions. It just means you should try visiting the website at a later time when fewer people are trying to use it. Because of it, on Feb.1, 2023, Open AI has a ChatGPT new plan; ChatGPT Plus, which allows(允许) users to have better experiences even during the busiest time. You need to pay $20 every month for ChatGPT Plus.

However, ____▲____ ChatGPT is an AI robot that gives ways to solve your questions, but Google is a search engine(搜索引擎). You can search for as much information as possible through Google. ChatGPT has limited(受限制的) knowledge because of its programming but Google has unlimited knowledge which is updated(更新)every day.

 请阅读下面的短文,并从方框里的六个句子中选择五个还原到原文中,使 原文的意思完整、连贯。

A..Have the willingness to change an opinion in the face of better data.

B.Reading is a good way to stay open-minded.

C.A system can be measured,refined,and optimized.

D.The better we get at writing the better we get at thinking.

E. Argue with yourself.

F.They only make a conclusion once they have studied a topic in depth.

There is no quick hack to becoming a critical thinker but there are some habits that one can build to after their character in the right direction.

● Read a lot and read widely

{#blank#}1{#/blank#} Well read people understand that there are different ways to look at a problem and different lenses with which to view the world.

● Don't jump to conclusions

A good critical thinker has built up the habit of not jumping to conclusions especially when there is no data.{#blank#}2{#/blank#}

● Create systems,not goals

For example,creating a system habit that promotes writing every day is more effective than setting the goal of writing an essay a week. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}.A goal only focuses on the outputs.

●{#blank#}4{#/blank#}

Great thinkers routinely and intelligently try to counter their own arguments.They go back and forth until only the most rational and strongest argument exists based on the knowledge they have.

● Write

Writing is thinking. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}.Writing also helps us separate what we actually know from what we think we know.

 阅读下面的短文,然后根据所给首字母写出单词的正确形式。每空限填一词。

Victoria Falls lies between Zimbabwe and Zambia, two countries separated by the Zambezi River. As one of the greatest w{#blank#}1{#/blank#} of the natural world, the waterfall attracts visitors from across the world.

Victoria Falls is the world's largest waterfall, t{#blank#}2{#/blank#} it's not the highest or widest waterfall in the world.

Lots of wildlife, including elephants and hippos, lives near the falls. Fish live in the Zambezi River above and b{#blank#}3{#/blank#} the falls. So it's not always s{#blank#}4{#/blank#} there. You can hear kinds of sounds.

Victoria Falls has a rainy season and a dry season. During the dry season from late August to 0{#blank#}5{#/blank#}, you can walk across the top of the falls. You can also t{#blank#}6{#/blank#} photos by the falls. A group of rocks(岩石) form a n{#blank#}7{#/blank#} po ol at the top of the falls. You can swim there. During the rainy season of November through April, there is much water and mist(雾), and it's hard to see the falls. The river and the falls can be very d{#blank#}8{#/blank#} during this season. June and July are good times to v{#blank#}9{#/blank#} it. Over the years, Victoria Falls has received m{#blank#}10{#/blank#} of guests. If you have a chance, you can go there to have a fantastic experience.
