It is really sad news for Guinness World Records. Tiffany Two, the holder of the  {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(old) cat record, has passed away in hersleep at{#blank#}2{#/blank#} age of 27 years, 2months and 20 days.

        Born on March 13, 1988 in San Diego, California,Tiffany Two {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(buy) by herowner, Sharon Voorhees, from a local pet shop. At that time, the cat was onlysix  {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(week) old. Sharon named her TiffanyTwo in memory of the cat she once{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(own) In the 1970s.

        In fact,{#blank#}6{#/blank#} Tiffany Two celebrated her 27^thbirthday back in March, she had lived the equivalent (等量) of 125 human years.

        Despite {#blank#}7{#/blank#} unbelievable age, Tiffany Two was reported tohave good sight and hearing {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (recent). Tiffany Two only had minor{#blank#}9{#/blank#} (ill) such as high blood pressure, and Sharondescribed her as “strong and still able to go up and down stairs”.

        “She's not afraid  {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (play) with anyone or any animal.She walks right past the dogs. She's very active!” Sharon explained.

    It was the spring of 1943 during World War Ⅱ. Standing among hundreds of new {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(soldier)at Camp Grant, Sam, just 18 years old, waited as a truck slowly drove by. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} full field pack was randomly thrown to each soldier.

    Sam received{#blank#}3{#/blank#} (he). After he opened the pack and looked at the things in it, he was greatly{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(astonish). He found his last name, Litrenti, was marked on each thing in his pack. "How strange!" Sam thought. He didn't think the one {#blank#}5{#/blank#} threw the field pack to him knew who he was.

    So why was Sam's last name marked on the things? You may not believe it, but it was the field pack that his father {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(use)during World War I.

    Sam {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(certain) didn't know that when he received it. It wasn't until after the war {#blank#}8{#/blank#} he found out why.

    After the war, he talked {#blank#}9{#/blank#}that with his father. After {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (talk)for a while, Sam's father became sure that the pack once belonged to him.

    Both the father and the son couldn't believe that! What a coincidence!

    According to Chinese speaking practice, lion is a special animal to Chinese people. A pair of stone lions, a male {#blank#}1{#/blank#} a female, are {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(common) seen in front of the gates of traditional building.

    The lion {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(regard) as the king in the animal world, so {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(it) images represent power and prestige. The stone lions are also used to indicate the ranks of officials.

    It is interesting to note that China had no lions originally. The earliest stone lions were sculpted {#blank#}5{#/blank#} the beginning of the Eastern Han Dynasty from A. D. 25 to 220 with {#blank#}6{#/blank#} introduction of Buddhism(佛教) into ancient China. In the Buddhist faith, the lion, {#blank#}7{#/blank#} can protect the truth and keep off evils, is considered a divine animal of nobleness and dignity. In Chinese folk tales, the lion has become a symbol of {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (brave), power and good luck.

    It was also popular to decorate bridges with stone sculpted lions for the defending reason. The {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(well) known of bridges is the Lugouqiao, {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(build )from 1189 to 1192.

Invisible People

If you have the time, check out an amazing YouTube channel that I recently found {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (call) "invisible people". It's a channel with {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (hundred) of interviews of homeless people {#blank#}3{#/blank#} share their story and how they survive day to day.

The man who operates the channel {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(be) formerly homeless and has devoted his life to helping {#blank#}5{#/blank#} homeless, The name "invisible people" certainly suits the channel well. For indeed there are so many "invisible" beings who are suffering every day, both humans and animals, and yet our {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (social) either pays little for people to {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (cruel) treat and kill animals, or completely {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (ignore) those who are in desperate need.

Occasionally, someone who watches the videos posted on that channel is near one of the people interviewed and is able {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (help) in some way. Some of the videos are truly heart-breaking but it's important to see what people go through. We can't turn a blind eye or treat them as if they're invisible. We cannot behave as it's been said, "Worship a homeless man on Sunday, and then ignore a homeless man {#blank#}10{#/blank#} Monday."
