    Last week, our school had organized an activity to climb the West Mountain. As soon as we arrived at the foot of a mountain, we set out for the summit in high spirits. During the climb, we had such much difficulty passing the rocky areas. But under the teacher's help, we eventually reached the top, where we greeted by the bright sunshine and fresh air. Seeing from the top, the city was extreme beautiful. This event turned out to be very success. Not only did we take a break from our heavy school work, and also we learned what to communicate with each other.

    I prefer my English classes to be taught in English only. What we all know, a good learning environment is of greatly importance if we want to study English well. Classes teaching in English provide students for a better environment. When English is an only language in class, students will have more opportunity to practise listening and speaking. However, there were problems with this method. Sometimes we may find difficult to follow the teacher and some slow learners may even give up learn English. In spite of these difficulties, but I believe practice makes perfect. With enough practice, we can overcome the difficulties and benefit from English classes in the long run.

    My favourite English novel is The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn wrote by the American writer Mark Twain.

    This novel tells the story of Huckleberry, a boy who lost his parents when he was extreme young. Nobody took care of him, so he was very kind and always ready to helping others. One great thing he did is help a black slave called Jim escape from. They met lots of different people and many difficulties on their way, but in the end they made them.

    The novel is very popular for teenagers all over the world because it is a very interested adventure. Furthermore, it is recognised as first work of modern American literature.

In Senior Two, a difficulty I met with was that I would feel extremely nervous whenever take a test. That would cause me fail to work out some problems as could be done by me after the test. I went to my teachers and classmates at help. They told me to calm down and believe in me. Thanks to their constant encouragement, I later made a great progress in my test, and gained many confidence,

Surely, we may meet with some difficulties in our study? but we needn't be afraid of them. To deal with these difficulties, we are supposing to find out the reasons first. Beside, consulting our teachers and classmates can contribute a lot to solving problems. Just had trust in yourself!
