    Dear Mom,

Today I'm going to tell you something special, I know you work very hard and feel tired every day.

Every time you come home and see the dirty house, I know you are very angry with me. But you always say nothing and clean up the house. I feel like dying. I really want to help you, but I have too much homework, and I'm so tired, too, I also want to tell you one thing-I love you so much. I usually talk back to you when you say that I don't study hard enough. But in fact I just want you to praise me more. I will try my best to get good grades and get praise from my teacher. So don't feel frustrated(挫败的) about my grades, OK?

I have made up my mind that I will do my homework as quickly as I can so that I can have time to clean the house, I will watch TV less so that I can have more time to study and get good grades. All these things are for one reason— I want to make you a happy mom.

    I love you!

Yours,

Sally

How much have you got the {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(知识) of tea culture? Tea is the world's second most popular drink (after water). Drinking tea has many upsides. Now tea is loved by millions from the China to England. from India to Afghanistan.

Tea was{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(发现) in 2727 BC in China. When the ruler Shen Nong was{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(煮沸) water over an open fire, some{#blank#}7{#/blank#}(树叶) from a tea plant fell into the water. Shen Nong then fell in love with the drink, and that is how tea became a common drink in Chinese culture. For centuries, drinking tea is an old{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(传统) in the UK. There's tea for breakfast, tea during break time, tea when visiting a friend's house, tea to wake up or tea to relax.. For Indians, drinking tea is also a huge part of{#blank#}9{#/blank#}(日常) life.

If you go to the Gulf of Mexico, you can see there is a big hole. It is called Chicxulub Crater. Some people believe it was because of a huge asteroid(小行星) hitting this place, and the hit made dinosaurs die out millions of years ago.

This idea was first suggested in 1980. Later, scientists used special tools to find out what would happen if it was true. It showed that the asteroid could hit Earth at 40,000 miles per hour, leading to a big hole, a great tsunami(海啸), earthquakes, and the melting(融化) of tons of rock. The hit took away millions of lives around the Chicxulub Crater.

The terrible story didn't stop there. Minutes later, hot rock started to rain down, and there was deadly dirt everywhere on the ground. More animals were burnt to death. After several hours, a super- hot wind knocked down anything still standing.

In weeks, the sky was full of ash. Days became nights. This covered the sunlight for months or even years. Many plants died first. Then lots of animals died too because of food shortage, including almost all dinosaurs.

Although this idea sounds possible, the question of how dinosaurs died out remains unsolved scientifically. But as scientists discover more dinosaur fossils, we may know the truth one day.
