One day, I was cooking with my friend Sandy in the kitchen. Suddenly, Sandy cut her finger. I went to her quickly. But to my surprise, I saw computer chips in her finger.

   “Now you know my secret, you have to die!” Sandy said and picked up the knife. “No, please, Sandy. Aren't we good friends?” I shouted. But before Sandy could say anything, she fainted.

    “Oh, Sandy!” I took her to hospital in a hurry. After a doctor checked her, he said, “I'm afraid we can't help her. Why don't you take her to a robot centre?”

      I hurried to a robot centre. A few days later, Sandy was well. She asked, ”Mary, why did you save me even after I tried to kill you? ”

“Because I'm sure you are my friend. Can you tell me where you are from?” “I'm from another planet. It's far from here. Thank you, my friend Now I see how friendly people are on the earth.”

      Two days later, a UFO came and picked her up. Since then I've never seen her.

The editor of the school newspaper was leaving so the paper would need a new editor. Hearing the news, Tara knew it was her 1 .

But now, as long as I get something good, I will share it with him. I remembered the year when he was three, he was fond of Rubik's cubes(魔方). I bought one for him with my lucky money as a birthday present When he got the toy, he was so happy that he laughed, hugged me and said, "Brother, I love you!

Thanks for spending these years together, with my family. It has taught me what responsibility means, what unselfishness means and what friendship means. 

Not only should I look after myself, but also I should pay attention to my family and my friends. 

On a cold winter night, while I was waiting 1 the green light, I saw an old man walking toward me. He stopped me, and I felt a little nervous. The old man said 2 ," Excuse me. Could you please help me?"

Then the old man took out a 10- yuan bill(账单) and asked me 3 the money and buy one sweet potato from 4 old lady. She was selling something about fifty meters away in the corner.

This summer, my family and I visited Bama in Guangxi, a place famously known as the"longevity village"(长寿村). Many elders there 1 to be over 100 years old. Knowing that the average human lifespan (寿命) in China is around 78 years,I was 2 about this amazing place and wanted to find out what makes it so special.

Upon arrival the first thing I noticed was the fresh and clean air. Local people say there is more oxygen there due to the 3 population and the richness of plants. Bama was cool and a bit humid 4 it was mid-August, making it perfect for a walk.

On the second day, we 5 Bama's famous"magnetic cave"(磁洞). It is believed that the strong magnetic field inside can help people live longer and treat various diseases. Although there is no scientific practice, I felt 6 after spending some time inside.

For meals, we had soup dishes that, according to the locals, could increase appetite(食欲) and make people 7 . The soup was just a mix of tofu, lettuce, and water, but I had two bowls. I didn't notice any increase in intelligence, but I did eat more than usual after having the soup. I also observed that the villagers 8 ate meat and mostly ate vegetables and tofu. Each dish was so delicious that I couldn't wait for it to 9 , and by the end of the meal, I was sweating.
