    Our school encouraged is to experience some future careers last vacation. Some students choose to work as either cashiers in a store and waiters at a restaurant. I was one of the 500 student to join in the activity. I decided be an assistant in a photo studio because of I love taking photos.     Last month, I, as well as my parents, were invited to my uncle's home in the United States. My uncle, moved to America when I was five, has been living there for nearly ten years. She met us in the airport. I was exciting when I set my foot on the land of America. In the followed days, we visited some places of interest and took photos in the front of the Statue of Liberty. We all enjoyed visiting the Museum of Natural History so it enriched our knowledge great.     Last weekend a sports meeting hold in our school was unforgettable. Our class attended the opening parade, for what our class had made a lot of preparations. Our parade took in the shape of the letter "V", which indicated victory for us. To our excitement, our parade performance was great success. After the parade, the games started. My classmates attended various event such as running, high jump and long jump. Due to the hard training we had done before, their performances were particular impressive.     With the improvement of people's living standards, cars have become popular means of transport, bring great convenience to our life. Therefore, they have also caused some problems such as air pollutions and traffic jams.

    How can we solve these problems then? As far as I am concerning, riding bicycles is a good solution. For one thing, bicycles don't need any petrol and they are energy-saving. For another, bicycles are environmental friendly because of they won't give off waste gas. Besides, riding bicycles was a good way for us to exercise and it is beneficial for our health.
