我们学校的四季

    Our school is beautiful all the year round. It is warm in spring. All the trees and grass turn green. The water in the lake gets warm, too. We plant trees around the lake or fly kites in the playground. It is hot in summer, but we feel cool under the trees. We can play games there. Sometimes we swim in the lake. It's cool! When autumn comes, all the leaves turn yellow and begin to fall. We clean them every day. Winter comes. It's very cold. We must wear warm clothes. The lake freezes. We can skate on it. When it snows, we can make a snowman.

    Today is fine, and the sky is blue. Now it's nine o'clock in the morning. There's a sports meeting in the forest on the mountain.

    Look! A horse, a panda and a cat are running. Over there a dog and two tigers are jumping. Two monkeys are climbing the trees. Four birds are flying around and singing.

    There are some other animals there, too. The elephants are standing. A monkey is sitting on an old elephant. The monkey has a flag in his hand. They are all watching.  

    Hello, I'm Mike. I'm tall and thin. I like monkeys. I like reading and skating. I have a friend, Tom. He is short and thin. He is nine years old. He likes singing and swimming. We like playing table tennis. We also like eating cakes, candy and ice cream. They are sweet. We don't like sour food.

    Hello! I'm Ben. I come from China. I am ten years old. I like meat, fish and hamburgers. Meat is my favourtie food. In the school, I like English best. And I do best in English. I can speak English very well. I think it is very useful. I also like science because it is interesting. My hobby is reading and drawing. I love reading fairy tales. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is my favourite. It's very interesting.

    My grandfather is fifty-five years old. He's a policeman. He loves his job very much. It is Sunday. Today is his birthday. My father, my mother and I are in his home. My uncle also comes here. He's a tall man. He's a doctor. He comes to see my grandfather every Sunday. My grandfather has a good friend. His name is Jim. He's from England. He's an artist (艺术家). He comes to see him, too. My grandfather is very happy today.
