Miss Tailor is a primary school teacher．All the students like her very much．Today is November 1st．In the evening．Miss Tailor gets two letters． One is a birthday card．It's from her student．Jack,It is a big surprise，because her birthday is in next month．The second letter is also from Jack．It says："Dear Miss Tailor．I'm sorry for the birthday card．It is a mistake．Please read the birthday card next month．"

    My name is Sally. I am a school girl. My school is far from my home. So I can't go to school by bike. I often go there by bus. I must get up very early every morning. I have no time for breakfast at home. I often eat something for breakfast on the way(在路上). I want to go to school on time(按时).

    My dad works from Monday to Friday in a bank. He uses the computer to count money. His job is very important in the bank.

    Dad is also busy at home. At weekends he cooks dinner. Usually he cooks Italian food. On Sundays he makes five pieces of pizza. Sometimes he cooks chicken and makes Chinese food. My mum watches and helps him. I help my dad, too. I wash the dishes.

    Many people think it is strange for a man to cook. But my dad enjoys his hobby. Cooking relaxes him. He is a weekend cook.

    Thank you, my lovely school. We learned and enjoyed every day. We painted in the art room. We read books in the library. We jumped and ran on the playground. It was happy to study here.

    Thanks for the new dress. I love it very much. It's hot in Sydney. I wear the dress to school. I want to buy (买) a pair of sunglasses, they're $85. They are too expensive. The food here is cheap. There is a farm next to my home. This is the vegetable garden. There are tomatoes and potatoes over there. There are animals, too. These are cows. They're so big. Mr Liu has twenty horses and ten hens on the farm, too. I like the farm!
