I hardly ever exercise. I catch a cold easily. When I catch a cold, I usually have a fever and a headache. It bothers (困扰) me a lot.

I am a music teacher in a middle school. I have lessons from Monday to Friday. I often have a sore throat and sometimes I can't eat anything. What should

I do?

I played computer games all day yesterday. When I woke up this morning, there was a pain in my neck and I can't even move it now.

I fell down and hurt my left knee when playing basketball with my friends just now. It keeps bleeding now. What should

I do?

A. Eating too much chocolate is bad for your teeth. After meals and before bedtime, you need to brush your teeth. If you still have a toothache, you must go to the dentist.

B. Firstly, you should stay away from your computer. Playing computer games too much is bad for your body. Secondly, try massaging (按摩) your neck to help to relax it. I believe you will feel better soon.

C. Take some medicine and drink much hot water to help stop the fever and headache when you get a cold. Also, you need to do exercise every day to make your body stronger so that you won't get a cold easily.

D. Why don't you lie down and have a good rest? Also, you could close your eyes or look at some green plants to rest them after watching the screen for long. But if your eyes still hurt, then go to the hospital.

E. Don't worry. Let me tell you how to deal with it. You should run the cut under water first. And then put some medicine and a bandage on it.

F. I think you should go to the hospital and take a chest X-ray first, and then follow what the doctor asks you to do. The most importantly, I think you should give up smoking.

G. Why not drink some hot tea with honey as soon as possible? It works very well. If your throat still hurts, then I think it's necessary for you to see a doctor.

This week, our topic is pollution. What are the answers to all of our pollution problems? We asked two experts to give their views.

◇Forest Smith is a member of Green First, an environmental group.

Our future on the Earth looks very bad. We are dumping waste on our land. We can't breathe the fresh air. The sea is polluted too.

I visited some relatives recently in a small village. They grow their own food and cycle everywhere. They are not wealthy, but they are happy and healthy.

We must close the factories producing useless products. That will reduce rubbish and air pollution. We must recycle more, give up all cars, and improve public transport.

A big problem is overpopulation in big cities. We must give up big cities and factories, and go back to a simple way of life.

◇John Green is a scientist at a university.

Things are not as bad as Forest says. We'll have a bright future. We don't need to give up cars but we need to invent better, cleaner engines.

This won't stop the problem of traffic jams. So we need better public transport. We should also recycle more.

But some things are getting better. My sister returned last month after living abroad for five years. She said, “Our old neighbourhood doesn't look the same as before-it is cleaner and greener now.”

In a word, science has brought many improvements to our life.

When you hear the name Hollywood, you probably think of excitement, lights, cameras and movie stars. Famous actors are not the only important people in the entertainment business. Directors and producers are important, too. Today, Hollywood is full of producers and directors. And it is one of the tourist destinations in America.

In 1911 the small, peaceful village of Hollywood in California voted to become part of Los Angeles. Today, over 100 years later, this village has grown into the home of one of the best-known industries in the world- the American film industry.

With this growth, came many well-known symbols. There is the famous Hollywood sign which stands above the hills of the town. The first sign was built in 1923. Then there is Hollywood Hall of Fame, where great actresses, actors and directors leave their footprints or handprints. Norma Tallmadge was the first actress to do this in 1927. But most famous of all are the Oscar Academy Awards(奥斯卡颁奖). In March of every year a number of actresses, actors and directors wait nervously to find out if they have won an "Oscar". The 85th Oscar Academy Awards was held on February 25, 2013, in Los Angeles. Ang Lee(李安),a Chinese director won the best director again. It was his second time to win an "Oscar".

Nowadays it becomes more and more common for films to be made away from Hollywood itself, but it remains the home of films, and thousands of hopeful young actresses, actors, writers and directors still come to "the Dream Factory" every year. But not all Hollywood dreams have been happy ones- as one actress, who later died tragically(悲惨地), said," Hollywood is a place where they will pay you 500 dollars for a kiss, and 50 cents for your soul.
