When a computer runs a group of programs, it can get very Cooling the computer can cost a lot. So some scientist's wonder what will happen if the heat from the computer can be used.

Large Internet companies (公司) such as Google and Microsoft have thousands of computers. As these computers deal with information, they produce lots of heat, so they need huge cooling systems(系统). These systems send the heat into the air.

A company in Holland (荷兰) thinks paying to make the computers work and then paying again to cool them are a waste of energy. So the company developed a special device—the e-radiator.

Boaz Loupe, the head of the company, says the e-radiator works as a heating system and saves money. He explains that the energy is used twice—once to heat the home and once to cool the computer. So the users don't have to pay to cool their computers.

Five homeowners in Holland are testing the heating system in their homes.

"We pay for the computer using, so, in that way, homeowners get heating for free," Boaz says.

Jan Visor is one of the homeowners. "If you use the computer more the e-radiator produces more heat," he says. "It cannot provide enough heat if you don't use your computer often. "But he is ready to try it. It's a great help for his family.

The company says e-radiators can produce heat at a temperature of 55℃. It says the system can save its users about S 440 a year.

A、is sent into the air B、helps the five homeowners C、is used twice D、makes the computer work better
(2)、The e-radiator is mainly used _______.

Many strong and out-of-control emotions are recognized as an illness. People who are always very sad have depression (抑郁症); those who worry a lot have anxiety.
But what about anger problems? Anger is largely viewed as a secondary emotion – one caused by other emotions. People are thought to be angry because they are sad, anxious or stressed. In the past, many doctors didn't accept the idea that anger could be a problem all on its own.
Today, though, a growing number of mental health experts think that anger is a serious problem that needs its own treatment.
How to tell the difference between "normal" anger and "anger problem" is difficult. After all, everyone gets really mad from time to time. Experts point out a few ways.
Disordered anger, as it is sometimes called, tends to be of greater intensity (强度). It takes very little to set off a person with an anger problem, and their responses (反应) are very strong. An example: While most people would get upset if a driver cut them off, someone with disordered anger might try to chase down the car and force it off the road.
And in cases of disordered anger, the person gets angry more frequently and his/her anger lasts longer. For most people, angry feelings disappear quickly. But people with anger problems often stay angry for days, weeks or even years; their feelings of anger don't disappear over time.
Consequences are also important to consider: Disordered anger often damages people's lives. “It interferes (干扰) with people's relationships and their jobs,”says Raymond Chip Tafrate, a US psychologist. “Even their health is affected.”
Anger clearly increases the risk of certain health problems, as many studies have shown. “When a person is angry, their heart beats faster and their blood pressure goes up,”says Howard Kassinove, a professor at Hofstra University in New York. Over time, these changes take their toll on the body, he adds.
Experts suggest that people with an anger problem take anger-management programs. The programs teach people to control their responses to stressful situations through the use of relaxation techniques. The programs sometimes include life-skills training as well: increasing someone's level of competence (竞争)– whether on the job or as a parent or partner – helps bring down stress and cut angry feelings.

Thousands of years ago, people didn't know that the Earth moved. They thought the sun really did move across the sky. The Greek god Helios was said to drive the sun around the sky with his chariot(战车). But now, these ideas have all changed. Nowadays, it is the sun that drives our “chariot”around the sky.
So what does all this mean? Well, quite simply, there is now a plane (or “chariot”) that is powered by the sun. It has special parts in its wings. These parts absorb power from the sun. They absorb so much power that they can carry on flying at night. In the Greek myths(希腊神话), Helios had to take a break at night. It seems we're finally even more efficient than the gods themselves.
This plane is called Solar Impulse (“太阳驱动”号). It will fly across the US in May. This is very important for the future of the world.
So why is solar energy so good for us? Well, other kinds of energy cause a few problems. If you live in China, you've probably noticed the pollution. This is caused by burning coal or gas to make energy. The heat and chemicals(化学制品)from this make things work. But if we use the heat from the sun, we don't have to burn anything, and there's no pollution.
Solar energy is not all there yet. It needs to be improved. But the best thing about it is that, unlike coal and gas, it doesn't run out. Solar Impulse could keep flying forever. Well, actually, the sun will run out too, one day, but not for another 5 billion years. That's a pretty long flight.

Do you believe that only boys do well in science? Does it seem that girls have better language skills than boys? In your opinion, are boys better at building things? If your answer to each of those questions is" Yes", you are right, according to an article in Current Science. There are exceptions(例外),but here are the facts.

Usually, boys score higher in tests about math, while girls do better in tests about words, spelling and memory. But these differences may not always be true. In the future, a person's abilities may not be decided by sex. As one scientist says, "Nothing is impossible for a person to be or do."

A recent study by Jerome Kagan, a scientist at Harvard University is studying the watching ability of children who are 10 months old. Baby boys and baby girls are watching "show" while seated on their mothers' laps. In Act One of the show, an orange-colored ball is lifted from a blue box and moved slowly. Then it is returned to the box. This is repeated six times. Act Six is almost the same, except that the orange ball is smaller. Baby boys do not seem to notice the difference in the size of the ball, but girls immediately become excited and begin to make noises that sound like language.

It's also known that baby girls usually talk at an earlier age than baby boys do. Scientists believe that the left side of the brain develops faster in girls than in boys. As a result, by the time they start to go to school, little girls have an advantage that boys don't have, but what have the boys been doing in the years before starting school? They have been developing something called aggression. An aggressive person feels strong and independent. He is often the first one to start a fight. It is said that aggression is caused by hormones(荷尔蒙). Scientists believe that hormones are not the only cause. They say aggression in boys is also caused by mothers.
