My grandpa is seventy-six years old. He often tells me about his old days when he is {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. Grandpa often says, " {#blank#}2{#/blank#}is much better today. Now you have lights, but when I was a child, we  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}candles. Travelling used to be very difficult, but now it's much easier." My grandpa was born in a poor {#blank#}4{#/blank#} so he didn't get much {#blank#}5{#/blank#}However, he never stopped {#blank#}6{#/blank#}.As a child, Grandpa hardly ever played games with other children.     Save water. Water {#blank#}7{#/blank#} very important for living things. It's we who use and pollute it. The simplest way to save water is turning {#blank#}8{#/blank#}water taps after use. When you visit a beach, make sure that you don't {#blank#}9{#/blank#} waste around. Do not pollute rivers by dropping garbage or other waste. Water is so precious, so we{#blank#}10{#/blank#} waste or pollute it.

    Many years ago, there was a family named Franklin. They lived in Boston. There were five girls and six boys in the family. On a January day in 1706 another baby was born. For example, he tried to know if there was some way to {#blank#}8{#/blank#} farther, maybe with something on his hands or feet. Slowly a picture of swimming shoes, or paddles, grew in his {#blank#}9{#/blank#}. The paddles must be neither too{#blank#}10{#/blank#} nor too small. And they must be neither too heavy nor too light. At last he invented the paddle for swimming.
