Michael Jackson was born in Indian，America，on August 29,1958. He was the seventh of the nine children{#blank#}1{#/blank#}his family.

    His father，Joe Jackson，set up the family band“The Jacksons”。It{#blank#}2{#/blank#}became“The Jackson 5”.Little Michael always{#blank#}3{#/blank#}his brothers practice singing. When he was about 5 years{#blank#}4{#/blank#}, he joined the group and became the lead singer of “The Jackson 5”.

    Michael's first public show was at a school program in his{#blank#}5{#/blank#}．grade in 1963.Wearing black{#blank#}6{#/blank#}and a white shirt, he sang Climb Every Mountain. Michael said,“Everybody gave me a big hand{#blank#}7{#/blank#}I finished singing. I just couldn't believe it. I didn't think I had done anything special. I was just{#blank#}8{#/blank#}the way I sang at home every night. I just open{#blank#}9{#/blank#}mouth and sing”.
