My friend Bob has a large police dog named Jack. Every Sunday afternoon, Bob and Jack have a walk in the park. Jack likes these walks very much.

    One Sunday afternoon, I paid a visit to my friend. I stayed there for a {#blank#}1{#/blank#} time. My friend and I had much more talk with each other than ever before. Soon it was time for them to take a walk in the park. We{#blank#}2{#/blank#}that, so Jack became worried about it. He walked around the room several times and then sat down in front of me and looked at me. But I still paid{#blank#}3{#/blank#} attention (注意) to him. I went on talking with my friend. At last, Jack could not wait any longer. He went out of the room and came back a few minutes {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. He sat down in front of me again.     On the day of the interview, I got up at 6:00 in the morning. I got to the interview place without {#blank#}1{#/blank#} breakfast. I was the 16th interviewer(应聘者) and the {#blank#}2{#/blank#} was a short ordinary - looking girl. I noddedto her. I asked her where she graduated.     I didn't expect the interview would last so long. As I didn't have breakfast, my stomachache came to me. I had to sit by the table for a rest. Just at that time, the girl came and asked me what happened. I told her, "I didn't have {#blank#}4{#/blank#} this morning, so I had a stomachache."

    After a while, a worker came in and {#blank#}5{#/blank#} me a bottle of milk and a piece of bread. It was certain that they were bought by the girl. I felt warm all over my heart because I hadn't imagined she would be so nice to help me--her rival (竞争对手)

    Luckily, I {#blank#}6{#/blank#} the job. The first day I went to work, I was {#blank#}7{#/blank#} to see the girl there. She also got the job. Later I asked her why she got the job. She said with a smile. "That day when I bought you the food and came back, an interviewer saw me and asked {#blank#}8{#/blank#} I took the food in hands. I told him the truth. Then I got the job. " At that {#blank#}9{#/blank#} ,I came to know that when the girl helped me and the interviewer, she also helped {#blank#}10{#/blank#}.
