    Time flies!A year has past since I came to this school.Many colorful activities had been organized by our school.     Last week, my teacher told us about our school's speech contest, which topic was “my hero”. I thought of my grandpa would be my perfect topic. Then I carefully prepared for contest. A couple of weeks later, after the first round I was choosing to be one of the seven finalists! The final was held soon. I was the sixth to giving the speech. After I finished it, I saw the audience discussing and wondering what they were saying. After the last person finished, the judge made their final decisions and announced that I have won the first prize. The audience were going wildly, clapping and cheering! I was extremely happy.     Hunter likes to go traveling in summer, but he had bad lucky this time. Last week he went to an old temple on a high mountain alone. Dear sir,

    I am sorry to write to you, but I feel it my responsibility to do so, so we should pay attention to our living environment while develop our economy. Yesterday we paid the visit to a chemical factory. When we go out of the factory, we saw that the environment nearby was so bad polluted. The water in the river was so black as coal. There were no living things in them. What's worse, the crops there didn't grow well. We hope our government can make the factory to take measures to prevent the pollution.     In order enrich students' school life, many schools offer all kind of after-school activities. I think that participated in after-school activities is beneficial to students. Therefore, every the student should take part in at most one after-school activity. That you choose is up to you. Any after-school activity that actual attracts you is OK, for example, a drama. After-school activities not only helps you relieve stress, and broaden your minds. Above all, they are good with character building through time management, teamwork and strong competition.
