    Once upon a time there was a boy who fond of reading. However, he was very poor to buy any books. That was the reason that he had to borrow books from a rich man who had a lot of books. The boy knew clearly that he has to finish reading the books he had borrowed and return it to the owner as soon as possible. A rich man, who was ready to lend any of his book to the boy, read few of his own books. With time going on, the boy read a lot but finally became a famous writer in his time. Though the rich man had such many books, he remained a man with little knowledge because of he seldom read his books.

    Last year, we went for a exchange programme to England improve our English. The plane took off on time and we arrived smoothly at the airport situating in the west of London. Before I went, I was quite proud of their English, and everyone in England spoke so fast that I couldn't make out what they were saying. I wasn't even sure of whether the plane has already landed in the right country. I was in fear and wanted to go straight back home. However, things soon got better and better. The member of the host family were very kindly. And fortunately, the boy with him I was staying was keen on football. We had fun played together. I got used to living in England with the help of my host family.

    World Laughter Day was first starting in Mumbai, India in 1998 by Madan Kataria. He was family doctor and the founder of the worldwide Laughter Yoga movement. World Laughter Day celebrates world peace and encouraged people to make friends with each other. It is celebrated on the first Sunday of May every year. Laughing makes everybody feels good, and it is also a good way to help people get along with better.

    My swimming experience is extreme interesting. There was a time when I swim like a rock. This went on till one day that I was fishing with a friend of mine at nearby pond. I slipped into one. If my friend had not come to my rescue, I would have been drowned. Ever since then, I had come to know the importance of learning to swim. I decided to learn to swim. I didn't attend to any training class but learned it all for myself. And now I have no difficulty swimming at all. Because the way I swim looks awkward (笨拙的), at least it can keep me floating. Thinking of this, I feel quite satisfying.
