If you want to keep fit, please refer to the following:

    Move More

Make it a daily habit to find ways to move your body. Climb stairs instead of taking the elevator(电梯); walk your dog; play with your kids. It doesn't have to be an hour in the gym or a 45-minutedance class. But that's great when you're up to it. At the same time, move more.

    Give up Smoking

Ever since 1960 when it was announced that smoking was harmful to health, Americans have been reducing their use of tobacco products. Just recently, we've seen more and more teens smoking. Could it be the Hollywood influence(影响)? Take care! Warn your children against smoking.

While recent studies show a glass of wine or one drink a day can help protect against heart disease more than that can cause other health problems such as liver and kidney(肝和肾)disease and cancer.

    Reduce Stress

Easier said than done. Stress comes in many ways. Spend 30 minutes a day doing something you like such as walking on the beach or in a park, reading a good book, visiting a friend, listening to relaxing music, and watching a funny movie.

    Protect Yourself from Pollution

If you can't live in a smog-free environment, at least avoid smoke-filled rooms. Exercise in doors in air conditioning when air quality is good.

A. Avoid Excessive (过量的) Drinking

B. There are many things you can do to move your arms and legs.

C. Think carefully about what you will do.

D. Exercise outside when the smog (雾霾) rating is low.

E. It seems that the stars in every movie smoke cigarettes

When I was a little girl, my mom would say, “Half the fun of doing anything is sharing it with others.” {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Friends and mates allow us to enjoy our successes and our joys, comfort us in our hard moments, and provide a mirror for us to learn more about ourselves. I've always looked at friends as the family we choose. They enrich our lives. As Robert Louis Steven once said, “{#blank#}2{#/blank#}”.

To be a good friend or partner, it's important to be a good listener. Hear what your friend or mate has to say first rather than jump to conclusions or get defensive. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} When they hear their words repeated back to them, it can help them to realize what they said was not exactly what they meant to say.

{#blank#}4{#/blank#} You know the old golden rule, “Care for others the way you would like them to care for you.” The support of a friend during a tough time could make the difference between success and failure. Encouragement and confidence are the gifts that can help change a person's life.

Take care, though, with whom you choose to have close relationship, for they can have a great effect on yourself – respect and life path. As someone once told me “{#blank#}5{#/blank#} They will either take you up or down.”

A. I am afraid so.

B. It is quite true

C. Friendship is the most important factor.

D. Sometimes it is useful to be their mirror.

E. A friend is a present which you give yourself.

F. The attitudes of your friends are like the buttons on a lift.

G. Patience, sympathy and understanding are also important qualities.
