How to be a good student

    As teenagers, how to be a good student? In my opinion, there are a lot of things we should do.

    Firstly, live a healthy life. We should have healthy eating habits.  Do more exercise to keep healthy. Secondly, have a good study habit. We should listen to the teacher carefully; try our best to finish homework on time. Thirdly, try to be an honest student. Don't tell lies and never cheat in class. Finally, obey the school rules. Don't go swimming alone without permission. Never take the mobile phones to school. Don't fight with others. Last but not least, we should be polite to the teachers and classmates.

    I hope we all become good students.

    Ella loves her grandpa. He lives in Texas and takes a train to see Ella every month. Ella wants him to come every week because he is good at telling stories and cooking.

    One day, Ella asks her mom to make some chicken. Grandpa often makes it. Ella's mom says, "I'll try, but no one makes it as well as(像……一样好) Grandpa does. "

    Ella watches her mom make the sauce(酱) for the chicken. It looks delicious. When the chicken is ready, Ella's family sit down to eat. Her mom is right—no one makes it as well as Grandpa does.

    The next day, Ella's grandpa comes to see her. Ella tells him the story about her mom trying to make the chicken. Her grandpa says, "That's a great story." Then he teaches Ella and her mom how to make the chicken.

    Healthy is the first for everyone. Many people— parents, doctors, teachers and others, want children to become healthy.{#blank#}1{#/blank#}

Here are some good rules to be healthy.

    {#blank#}2{#/blank#} I know we hear this one all the time, but kids sometimes forget. So remind (提醒)them to wash their hands before eating and after using the bathroom or playing outside We have a rule that everyone has to wash their hands as soon as they get home from school.

    {#blank#}3{#/blank#} Our children need to have different kinds of healthy foods and they need to be healthy and strong. Don't eat junk food(垃圾食品). It is not good for their health.

    Drink water and milk. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} But cold water is the best drink when they want to drink something. They can take water bottles with them when they go to school every day so they can drink as much as they want.

    Listen to your body. Good breakfast can help children study or play better. And eat well for lunch. But don't eat too much in the evening.

    {#blank#}5{#/blank#} No getting enough sleep can be a problem for children of any age. They can't watch TV, play computer games, or use the computer and mobile phones too much time. Good sleep is really needed for kids at every age.

    Play sports every day. It's also important for children's health.

D. Eat all kinds of food, it's better to eat more fruits and vegetables.

    April 22 is Earth Day. Everyone on earth should care about and protect the earth! The earth has warmed by about 1 °F over the past 100 years, but why and how? Well, scientists are not quite sure. Maybe the earth gets warmer and warmer on its own. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}

    First, greenhouse effect(效应) is a very important reason for the change of the earth. People give out too much energy into the air every year. It makes the earth warmer. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} Sometimes it becomes too hot and sometimes too cold. Sometimes there is too much rain and sometimes too little. The change of the climate makes the earth warmer. In turn, the warmth of the earth changes the climate, too.

    When the earth becomes warmer, there may be more rain and a rise in sea level. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} On a Pacific island, 100 people have to move to higher ground because the sea is rising. These people can no longer live on the coast. Before that, two islands without people went underwater in 1999. Scientists say that the seas can rise by nearly one metre by 2100.

People can affect the earth's air, land and water. As for us, we can do many things to protect the earth.{#blank#}4{#/blank#} We can tell more people about protecting the earth.
