Go travelling, that's one of the best ways for you to learn.

Once you have decided your destination(目的地), the next step in planning a trip is to book your flights. Learning how to find cheap flights will help you a lot and you can save a lot from the biggest travel cost.

As a travelling family, if you travel abroad and it's a long hard flight, I suggest that you plan your trip in advance so that you can get to your destination as quickly as possible, to make the trip more comfortable that your budget(预算) allows! If it's your one-and-only dream vacation for the year, I recommend you pay a little bit extra money for a high-quality airline and fly directly too!

When searching for cheap flights online, we always start with Skyscanner, which is one of our favourite booking sites. Skyscanner is a comparison(比较) site that searches millions of flights from over a thousand airlines, and once you've found your flight on it, you are taken to the airline to make your booking with no extra money added. Download the new Skyscanner App, which makes it easier for you to find the best travel deals. It's an all in one search engine app with flights, hotels and car hire involved.

Other credible flight search engines include Kayak, Hipmunk, Google Flights and Momondo.

After you found your best flight on the search engines, do directly to that airline's own website and see if you can get it for cheaper tickets. Many airlines have lower fares only available on their own site.

The most unusual museum in London is the Science Museum. In most museums, there's no shouting and no running, and you aren't allowed to touch the exhibits. But the Science Museum is different… because it's noisy ! People talk about what they can see and do there, and some of the machines are noisy as well. Visiting the Science Museum is fun and it's a great way to learn about science because you can work things out and try out ideas.
When I visit the Science Museum, I go to the Launch Pad. This is my favorite room because you can do physics experiments. For example, if you want to fill a bag with falling sand, you have to move a kind of truck on wheels into the correct position. I also go to the Rocket Show. You can learn how we travel into space and back again.
Then I go upstairs to the Human and Nature room. You can compare your speed with animals there. You hear a noise and push a button. If you aren't fast enough, the lion catches you! I'm faster than all my friends, but the lion still catches me.
You can do a lot of things in this museum, but you have to obey some rules as well. For example, you mustn't take photos of the exhibits in the museum. But you can buy postcards of them in the museum shops.
Above all, the Science Museum is free. That means you can drop in for a few minutes or you can stay as long as you like – it's open every day, from 10 am to 6 pm. So if you ever go to London, make sure you visit the Science Museum. It's my favorite museum in the whole world.

Answer the questions. (根据短文内容,回答下列问题。)

When Paul was a boy growing up in Utah, he happened to live near a copper smelter(炼厂), and the chemicals coming out of the smelter made a beautiful forest become a wasteland. One day a young visitor looked at this wasteland and called it an awful area. Paul got so angry when he heard these words. From then on, something happened inside him.

Years later Paul was back to the hometown and he went to the smelter office. He asked if they had any plans or if they would let him try to bring the trees back. The answer from that big industry was "No".

Paul then went to college to study the science of plants. Unfortunately, his teachers said there weren't any birds or squirrels(松)to spread the seeds. It would be a waste of his life to try to do it. Everyone knew that, he was told. Even if he was knowledgeable as he had expected. nobody accepted his idea.

Paul later got married and had some kids. But he didn't give up. And then one night he did what he could with what he had. Under the cover of darkness, he went secretly into the wasteland and started planting.

And every week, he made his secret journey into the wasteland and planted trees and grass. Slowly rabbits appeared. Later, as there was pressure(压力)to clean up the environment, the company actually invited Paul to do what he was already doing. Now the place is fourteen thousand acres of trees and grass, and Paul has received almost every environmental award Utah has. It took him a long time until his hair turned grey, but he managed to keep that impossible promise he made to himself as a child.
