    My name is Zhang Jing. I have a happy1 . We are from China. Now my parents and I 2 in America. In the morning, we have 3 at home. We have bread, milk and eggs. 4 lunch, we don't eat at home. In the evening, we 5 a big dinner at home. We 6 dumplings, chicken, rice and vegetables.

    My favourite 7 is dumplings. I like apples too. I eat 8 apple(s) a day, one in the morning and the other(另一个) in 9 afternoon. My father's favourite food is carrots and chicken. What about 10 mother? Oh, her favourite food is rice. We all eat healthy food.

    When I was a little girl, I remember that when my dad was repairing something, every time he asked me to 1the hammer(锤子) for him, just so we would have a time for a 2  with each other. I 3  saw my dad drinking or taking a night out. All he did after work was taking care of his family.

    I grew up and left home for college and since then, my dad had been calling me every Sunday morning, no matter what. And when several 4  later I bought a house, my dad was 5  it by himself for three days in the 38℃ summer heat. All he asked was to hold his paint brush and 6  to him. But I was too 7  in those days. I did not find any time for a conversation with my dad.

    The doctor looked him over, then he said, "Nothing serious, you are too heavy. You must lose430 kilos. Eat only fruit and vegetables and run five kilometers a day for the next5days, then call and tell me how6you are."

    Mr. Brown went home and did7the doctor told him. One hundred days8, he called the doctor.

    "Mr. Brown here, doctor," he said. "I'm calling to tell you about my weight. You will be9to know that I lost 30 kilos."

    "Great!" The doctor said. "Yes, but there's another10," Mr. Brown said. "I'm 500 kilometers from home!"

My favorite animals are monkeys (猴子). I like them{#blank#}1{#/blank#} they are smart. Here are some new {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (photo) of monkeys in my phone. They make me happy when I see them. 

There is a monkey festival in my hometown. "Where are you {#blank#}3{#/blank#}?" you may ask. I'm from Lopburi. The festival is important to {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (we). It is usually on {#blank#}5{#/blank#} last Sunday of November. You can see all {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (kind) of foods on the big tables. The food tastes {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (good). It's all for monkeys. The monkeys sometimes fight for food. That {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(sound) funny, right? The monkey festival attracts (吸引) many people every year. People can watch some {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(interest)shows, too. The performers (表演者) wear beautiful clothes. I always have much {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (fun) at the festival. 

My name is Evelyn Glennie. I am a solo(独奏的) drum player. Here I'd like to talk 1 my story. When I was about 12, I 2 interested in percussion instruments(打击乐器) and began to play them. At that time I lost all of my hearing. I remember when I learned 3 the tympani (定音鼓), my teacher said," Well, you know, mu- sic is about listening. How are you going to hear the sound?"I asked," Well, how do you hear it?" He pointed to 4 ear and said,"I hear it through here." Then I told him,"I think I do, too, 5 I also hear it through my hands, my arms, my eyes, my legs and so on."I mean that I 6 feel the music, see it and touch it. That's why I can experience every kind of music, from classical to pop, even though I can't actually hear it.

Now I 7 ' invited to travel around the world for concerts. I like to go to other people's concerts in different countries. I also like to find new instruments. Now I have 8 instruments. They often remind (提醒) me of how excited I was when I first saw local musicians playing them. These experience was such 9 beautiful memory to me. And10 thing is that every time I play instruments, I really enjoy my time with music.
