There are many shops near my home．Every day,a lot of people go there to buy fruit and vegetables．My parents also{#blank#}1{#/blank#}there and they usually  {#blank#}2{#/blank#} my favourite vegetables．Today, they are going   {#blank#}3{#/blank#} buy oranges．

    There is a small garden next these shops. People usually exercise there in the morning or after dinner．And an old man often {#blank#}4{#/blank#}litter there．Who is he? {#blank#}5{#/blank#}is he from? No one knows．

    Hey friends! Do you like flowers and do you know how to plant flowers?

    {#blank#}1{#/blank#}all my family members，my grandma knew the most．She planted flowers in the {#blank#}2{#/blank#}．She planted them with love and {#blank#}3{#/blank#}them as her children．So the yard was always filled with beautiful flowers． Grandma {#blank#}4{#/blank#}her flowers several times a day．She would smile when she saw the sun shine down on them．

    Every Friday Grandma asked me to pick flowers，and then she would turn them into delicious wine(酒)．To be {#blank#}5{#/blank#}，I liked doing that．

    Grandma not only planted flowers in the yard but also planted flowers in our hearts．Her delicious dinners made with love encouraged us．Her {#blank#}6{#/blank#}smiles always made us happy．Her hugs(拥抱)and kisses were the sunshine．

It's a(n) {#blank#}7{#/blank#}that Grandma died last year．We miss her a lot．

    I' m David, a baby penguin (企鹅). It is snowing outside. I am staying{#blank#}1{#/blank#}my nest (~) and waiting for my parents. They went out yesterday to {#blank#}2{#/blank#}food for me. I feel so cold and hungry now because we don't have any food at all. In the last few years,{#blank#}3{#/blank#}developed the economy (发展经济), but they forgot the{#blank#}4{#/blank#}

    They cut many trees down and {#blank#}5{#/blank#} lots of factories. The{#blank#}6{#/blank#} from those factories soon changed the climate (改变气候). So it's harder for my parents to find food. What's worse,{#blank#}7{#/blank#} penguins died because of the climate change. But now, people in the world seem to know their mistakes (错误) and begin to do something to save the world. I think we can live a better life in the{#blank#}8{#/blank#}

Anna:  Hi, Simon! You are already in Lijiang! Great to hear you! So{#blank#}1{#/blank#}do you like the Old Town there?

Simon: Oh, we love it very much. You know it is so different from {#blank#}2{#/blank#}.

Anna: Really? How long are you staying there?

Simon: Four days. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}my dad has to go back to work next Monday. We arrived yesterday and visited the Old Town. Tomorrow we're going to Yulong Snow Mountain. {#blank#}4{#/blank#}save time, we're taking the cable car up there. If we still have time, we're planning to see Blue Moon Valley and Yak Meadow.
