On the day after Thanksgiving Day, many companies in America began to make a profit, and many hoped to  a profit (recorded in black ink)from then on. That's why the day is called Black Friday.

    In order to make  profits on that day, many shop owners began to offer sales to people. Step by step, Black Friday  an important shopping day. Since 2002, it has been the biggest shopping day of the year in America.
