The boy said, “Then I thank you from my heart.” As the boy left that house, he felt stronger. He knew he had many things to do.

    Many years later, the young woman became ill. The local doctors couldn't save her. People had to send her to a big city.When the doctor knew who the woman was, he was excited and tried his best to save her life. He succeeded. The woman needed to pay for the medical bill.     Ou Pingqin was a teacher in a special school (for deaf and mute（聋哑）students）,who has recently been considered the Most Beautiful Teacher in China.

    After graduating from a college, she went to this school alone and worked there for nearly twenty years. The headmaster of the school said, “She worked hard and taught well. She was a backbone teacher in our school. She was also the most welcome teacher among the students. For students, she was like a mother. They called her Little Mother.”

    One day, when she was talking with her students in the dormitory. It looked as if something heavy would fall off. It was dangerous. At that time, without any hesitation（犹豫）, she pushed two students away, but she was hit heavily. However, she continued working with great pain later.

One of her officemates （同事） said, "Ou Pingqin was not only a teacher but also a mother to her students in her class. She cared about their studies and even their life. She was very strict in her work."

    A student's parent said, "She was very warm-hearted. My son lost his father who supported the family. Every month, the teacher gave him 100 yuan to buy books from her own income." She gave all her life to the teaching and her students, but she didn't marry when she died at the age of 36.

    Ou Pinqin's deeds have drawn much attention in the country. She was the students' Little Mother, but gave them great love.

At the beginning of the school year, each student would be given a special job for which they would be responsible (负责任的) for the whole term. Rita, a quiet and hardworking girl, hoped for an exciting task, like taking care of the class plants. Instead, she received a small box with sand and a small ant. 

Even though the teacher explained that this task was very special, Rita could not help feeling disappointed. However, she decided to do her best with her new job. She began to study and care for the ant, learning about its habitat (栖息地) and needs. She made the box a comfortable home for the ant, and it grew much bigger than anyone expected. 

Rita's efforts caught the attention of her science teacher, Mr. Thompson. He turned her work into a class project, and Rita became the class expert (专家) on ants. Her hard work helped the whole class learn about ant behavior and habitats. They even built a small ant farm in the classroom to observe the ant closely. 

Gradually, Rita's classmates became more and more interested in the ant project. They started asking her questions and observing the ant's behavior themselves. Rita organized a presentation where she shared her findings with the whole school during the science fair. 

At the end of the year, Rita's class was recognized as the best of the year. Rita was as well praised for her hard work and how she turned a small task into something big. Rita learned that every task, no matter how small, could make a big difference. She also learned that sometimes the most unexpected things can lead to great success.

When I was in high school, I was in the FIRST Robotics Club. It had {#blank#}1{#/blank#} activities to help students learn about engineering(工程学).

I didn't know what engineering was about,{#blank#}2{#/blank#} I joined the club. My friend Mark {#blank#}3{#/blank#} me to join it, and there I began to learn a lot {#blank#}4{#/blank#} engineering. It is a different way of thinking. It lets students think about how {#blank#}5{#/blank#}a dream come true.

There were about thirty {#blank#}6{#/blank#} in the club and we were in six groups. Once the teacher asked us to make {#blank#}7{#/blank#} own(自己的) robots in a month. At first I thought it was impossible, {#blank#}8{#/blank#} we made it finally and then we took part in the competitions(竞赛). My group won the first prize. It was so {#blank#}9{#/blank#}!

I'm a college student now and I am in some clubs, but I really {#blank#}10{#/blank#} my FIRST Robotics: I think it is the best {#blank#}11{#/blank#}.
