Avoid Internet Addiction
Many people suffer from addition to the Internet and have a hard time paying attention to the important things around them. How can we prevent ourselves from going online too much?
Admit you have an addition. Realize more and more people in the world are becoming addicted. You are not the only one with this problem. Do not be embarrassed; find others with the same problem and help each other beat it.
Limit your computer time. Make sure not to turn it on too many times a week. Before using your computer, decide on a time limit such as 30 minutes. Set the clock and make sure that you get off the computer when the time is up.
Try using the computer at the library. You won't be as attracted to look at certain websites and they do have a limit on how long you can stay online. . So you won't be as attracted to be on the Internet as at home.
Go for a run with a friend or get exercise some other way. Keep up with the local events in your neighborhood. There may be talks, films, concerts and sports events etc. Find some, as long as it is not on the Internet, and get involved.
A. You will be happier if you use the Internet less.
B. There is no use avoiding the truth.
C. Also, it is a good place to get some good books and magazines to read.
D. Get a hobby or an interest.
E. Internet addition affects a lot of people.
F. Get your family to remind you if you've been on a long time.
G. Try to reduce the amount of time by 5minutes each time.
A. With it come many health problems. B. When you finally get home you'll be greatly refreshed. C. I challenge each one of you to do the same. D. Draw up a detailed plan so you can see more. E. Life is not all about work, or at least it shouldn't be. F. And only you know how to vacation your way. G. For my next holiday, I will do all the things that I love doing. |
Vacations are important. We need to take time out from work to relax, and just be ourselves. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} We should all be allowed to leave our jobs behind us—at least for a few weeks each year—and just have fun. This might be something as simple as reading a good book in front of a warm fireplace and travelling to the most interesting places on our planet. Whatever we fancy doing is worth taking time out for.
Workplace stress is on the rise. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} These include disease, depression and even death. We all seem to be running from one place to the next, never finding out where we want to go in the first place. I intend to break that trend in the coming days.
{#blank#}3{#/blank#} I will sleep late, write, watch movies, drink the occasional glass of wine, and eat to my heart's content ignoring calorie counting. My plan is to just enjoy the fleeting moments of being alive.
{#blank#}4{#/blank#} Spend your next vacation the way you want. Do what will restore your mental health. You're very valuable to the people who are close to you, and to those who depend on you. Like it or not, we are all interdependent in this great life of ours.
You are valuable. Just remember that the next time you look at the mirror and take a deep breath. Remind yourself that there will never be anyone like you ever on this earth again.
{#blank#}5{#/blank#} All you have to do is just ask yourself what you want to do.
A. You should do it continuously. B. Someone may hang up on you. C. You don't need to go to the gym. D. Running in the gym may be a better choice. E. Start to travel now and learn to challenge yourself. F. Take a class for a hobby you've been wanting to develop. G. You can never see any improvement if you stick to your comfort zone. |
If something that you're doing doesn't challenge you, then it doesn't change you. We all need some normal stress in our lives, after all. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} So challenge the following limits:
①Figure out what you're scared of and do it continuously.
If you're a salesman, and you're scared of talking to people personally or over the phone, now, instead of being scared and thinking you'll fail, spend at least five minutes a day to pick up the phone and make a call. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} But don't stop on the first try! Eventually, you can look at fear in the eyes and say, "Go on, I'm not scared!"
②{#blank#}3{#/blank#}
Make sure this hobby is not linked to your career; you have to relax and relieve your stress while performing this. Some examples might be cooking, sewing, painting and so on. Apart from helping you challenge yourself, taking a class for your hobby may also give you extra income.
③Set aside at least nine minutes a day for physical exercise.
{#blank#}4{#/blank#} A simple 9minute run around your neighborhood can do wonders for yourself. Exercise can not only help you maintain your regular weight, but also make you feel better about yourself.
④Travel and allow yourself to be interested in new people.
Don't just limit yourself to your fellow travelers-try to connect with the service staff. You never know what kind of people they're going to be. Get out of your house or go online right now to book your class. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}
