We have heard about people who have special memories. Recently there has been a report about a woman from Australia who can remember almost every detail (细节) of all the events in her daily life.

    Rebecca Sharrock, 25, is one of just 80 people worldwide who have been identified(确定) as having Highly Superior Autobiographical Memory ( HSAM,超级自传体记忆症). It means she can remember every small event—which most people would forget with in (在......以内) days—as if it had happened just minutes ago.

    "I remember my mum putting me in the driver's seat of a car and taking a picture of me when I was 12 days old,” she said. " That's my earliest memory. I remember every day since then. I can't tell all the dates exactly because I was too young to understand calendars, but I remember what I did that every day, what the weather was like and so on.”

    Rebecca can also re—experience taste. If she's eating something that she doesn't like, she thinks about Black Forest cake, her favorite food, and the memory will be so strong that she can nearly "taste” it.

    However,  sometimes her memories prove (证明) to be painful. Because they're not just events that she remembers. "When I relive （再体验) memories, the feelings return, too,” Rebecca said. "For example, I remember falling over when I was three at my grandparents' house and hurting my left knee. Talking about it now, I feel painful in my left knee. "

    "At night, I have to sleep with the radio/recorder and a soft light on, she added. "1f it's too dark or quiet, my mind would be filled with all these memories and I can't sleep. "

  Yesterday Peter felt very sorry because he forgot (忘记) to say “Happy Birthday” to his uncle . So he wrote a letter to his uncle : “My dear uncle, I'm very sorry because I forgot your birthday. But to teach me a lesson, you'd better (最好) forget my birthday on Tuesday, tomorrow.”

    Abbie was a shy girl. She started her ninth grade in a new school. She soon found she didn't like the new school. This new school was much too cold and unfriendly! No one seemed to care if Abbie felt welcome or not.

    Her parents were very worried about her and they hew since they got divorced(离婚), she needed a friend very badly. They tried everything they could to help her fit in(适应), but it didn't work. She was always lonely and unhappy.

    Abbie once tried joining a music club, hoping to make friends. But her shyness held her back again. She was so upset mat she was thill king of running away from home.

    As she left her warm house, she decided to leave her mother a letter. She opened me mailbox after she finished writing the letter. To her surprise, she found a letter to her in the box. It was from Wesley:

    Dear Abbie,

    I'm sorry for not talking with you sooner. You know, my parents are in the middle of a divorce, so I am hoping you could help me get over it and give me some advice. I think we could become friends.

    Abbie read me letter over and over again. "Become friends," she smiled, realizing that someone cared about her life and wanted her as a friend.

My favourite teacher is Mr Zhao. He has made {#blank#}1{#/blank#} big difference in my life.

On my first day at school, I was  {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (real) shy and nervous. But Mr Zhao was {#blank#}3{#/blank#} kind that I soon forgot about that. In his class, he asked us {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(draw) a picture of ourselves. When he got to  {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(I) desk, he looked at my picture and said, "Wow! I like those bright {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(colour)! That's great!" I felt {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(relax) at once.

Mr Zhao is patient and he always  {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(tell) us not to worry about giving wrong answers. Also, he shows us how to learn {#blank#}9{#/blank#} our mistakes. Now I am in the {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (nine) grade, and I'm leaving school. I will remember all the suggestions he has given me.

My name is Kevin. I'm a 13-year-old student from 1 middle school in Shang hai. In the past, I had some bad habits. I hardly had breakfast 2 I usually got up late. I didn't like exercising. In the evening, I always 3 TV for more than two hours. I liked to spend lots of hours playing different computer 4 . So I often stayed up late. My parents thought it was bad for my health, so they were worried about 5 .

After playing for two hours，they took a short break. They wanted to have a hot drink to get out of{#blank#}8{#/blank#} the cold，so they went into a warm house. They talked about{#blank#}9{#/blank#} their fun day there.
