    Many Belgians(比利时人) say that the Grand Place is the most beautiful square in the world. It is home of a colorful flower market. It's open every day except Mondays. On Mondays, instead of flowers, there's a wonderful bird market!

    One of the world's most famous markets is the Sonora Market in Mexico. You can buy toys, birds, herbs and medicine. There are all kinds of things. It's open every day from early in the morning till late at night.

    In England, every weekend, thousands of young people t ravel to the Camden Market to go for street fashion CDs and tapes. Many people also go there for fun.

    Mr Turner was a famous writer. He was born in New York in a rich family on 13th September, 1941. His father came from England. He was a worker. His mother came from Australia and she worked as a doctor.

    When Mr Turner was seven, he began to go to school. He usually rode his bicycle to school. At school, he first wanted to be a manager. But at the age of fifteen, he decided to be a writer. In 1965, he wrote his first book and in 1967 he wrote his second book. After that he was famous all over America.     I was happy in those days before I started going to school. Because I had good neighbors to play with. I played with them from morning to evening. We played games outdoors, dressed up as cowboys and rode around on our tricycles(三轮车) happily.

    What a wonderful childhood I had! At times I really wish I could go back to those days.

    A young lady was driving a family car home with her father when they were caught in a heavy storm. The young lady was a little afraid and asked her father. "What should I do, stop or keep driving?"

    Her father said, "Keep driving."

    After driving a few kilometers, the storm was becoming heavier and heavier. The young lady noticed that some cars and big transport trucks were pulling over（靠边停）to the side of the road. The young lady asked her father again if they should stop. But her father said nothing. So, she had to keep on driving.

    Ten minutes later, the storm started to become small and she could see a little more clearly. After a couple of kilometers, she drove out of the storm. Moreover, the sun came out and the road ahead was dry.

    Her father told her to stop and get out of the car.

    "But why now, Father?" she asked in surprise.

    Her father said, "When you get out, you can look back at all the people in cars and big trucks that gave up and they are still in the storm. Now, your storm is over because you didn't give up.

    Don't give up, even if the stronger do. If you keep going, soon your "personal storms" will be over. The sun will shine on you again and the road ahead will be dry and clear.
