    When people use words and expressions different with the “standard language”, it is called an dialect. American English has many dialects. Even some parts of the USA, two people from neighboring towns speak a little different. American English has so much dialects because people have come from all over the world. Geography also plays a part in make dialects. Some people which live in the mountains of the eastern USA speak with an older kind of English dialects. When Americans move from one place to another, they took their dialects with them. Although many Americans move a lot of, they still recognize and understand each other's dialects.

    One day when I was at four, I played outside in the courtyard. I caught sight my dad's truck and thought he shouldn't have to drive such a ugly truck. Then I spot a tin of white paint.     Spring is my favorite season of the year. The days are not so hot even though the sun shone brightly. The trees and grasses look greener. Whatever I look, I can see so many pretty flowers.     Every year, my parents and I pay visit to my grandparents in my hometown.

    To be honestly, I didn't want to go this year. You know, my hometown in their memory was so dirty. Rubbish could be seen everywhere, that annoyed me a lot. After thinking for some moment, I asked my parents that whether we could let my grandparents come and stay with us. Heard this, they just smiled.

    When I got on the bus, I was surprised to find that the village was very clean that I hardly recognized it. Then I decide to visit my grandparents more often.

    Great changes have been taken place in my village. Ten years ago, the small and low houses of my village lie on the north of a lake. The villagers produced many waste. As a result, the lake was seriously polluted. To the west of the village was a sandy field, where was the source of much dust.

    Now the poor house have been replaced by green trees. However, the sandy field that the villagers used to plough has been covered of fruit trees. On the lake, now clean and clearly, the villagers often spend their spare time fish.

    In word, my village has become a green one.
